in fairness, our on field product deserved to be treated like a red headed step child waiting to step dad to get home from the local bar

That's unfair to the drunk stepdad's of the world.

SHUT UP

WE NEVER HAD THE BEST DEAL

WE CAME OUT IN FEATHERS AND HAD LOUISVILLE GETTING PAYED MORE THAN US WITHIN 24 MONTHS

WE BACK NOW

YOU PUNK COME SEE ME
I’m convinced a lot of our fans are illiterate. If you actually read anything on the previous deal, it was obvious thst Adidas was upping our cash and merch by a significant amount. In some estimates it was almost double what Nike offered.

Nike, nor Adidas can force any school to do anything. If a school(or a coach) doesn’t want their teams to wear certain things, they can easily say no. In most cases, the apparel you see on the field was signed off on by the University, with heavy input during the design process. Mark Richt didn’t like the feather unis, he wanted a traditional template and that was EXACTLY what Adidas provided. If Mario wants that same look, Nike will provide it.

You can thank Mark Richt, not Adidas, for the current jerseys we wear.

Pretty weird that Nike never managed to put Alabama, OSU, Florida, LSU, etc. in such ugly garbage....

Yep.

2016 was supposed to be another "feathers" jersey year. We wore the feathers for every game...until we played F$U in a "throwback" jersey.

The throwback was scheduled to last for ONE game until Richt made it our new official jersey.

And now we have a head coach who by all accounts favors the old school look and who didn't even want to wear black alternates.

Yet people think we are doomed to becoming Oregon or bringing back the Clam

This sucks.

Worst uniforms of my lifetime on tap.

Mali, Nick, Amir all slighted.

Adidas even matched the offer.

Unreal.
I know you are joking, but I doubt Adidas matched. Had Adidas truly matched, it’s unlikely Miami wound have moved. People forget that most schools don’t change suppliers unless there’s a huge financial incentive to do so.

the current unis were bc richt was like get this flower bull**** out of here. they were supposed to be one game throwbacks that richt kept permanently.
I remember, and thank God he did, but he was right. The feathers were nonsense and what we have today is because of him

It's also Nike needing to make a big splash. I knew this would happen. Nike is not doing well at all and the focus for the recovery is athletics. Great timing for both Nike and Miami

Soooooo...it's NOT about stock price?

;););)

It's all good, I love ya, man!

I'm just sooooo happy right now!
I told you Nike must be the play. I just hope they don't do anything stupid with the uniform design

Any concern with Mali - Lennear- Amir being Adidas contracts?
