Nike 7 on 7 Updates

Jaquan Johnson will change the university of Miami program. He's not a 5-star talent wise, but he has 5-star intangibles, great leader like Tim Tebow was for Florida. He makes all the players around him better. If Miami doesn't land him, it will be the BIGGEST miss under Al Golden. Jaquan Johnson is special....

Doesn't the kid have a choice, wtf??? Where do you guys come up with this chit?!...

Maurice is a little off.. only reason he uses absolutely no logic when coming up with this particular post. Seriously how old are you.. Miami 's biggest miss in Al Golden's tenure.. Lmao..

Insert every ______ recruit.

Jaquan Johnson is here and he's put on some serious muscle. Looks very similar to Matt Elam, his typical comparison.

Some kids throw up the U and when it's at the Hecht Center on a visit, it looks like they're going through the motions, doing it to be polite. This kid's got a genuine smile. Looks like he's really enthusiastic. How can this kid go anywhere else?

I swear to God if we don't get Johnson that is the biggest miss in the history of the program.

No

There are a lot of kids that might be characterized as the biggest miss ever. Back in the '80s we lost TE Derrick Brown of Merritt Island to Notre Dame. We all throught he was coming to Miami. There was Antone Smith. Neither of these guys did anything near what they were supposed to do. I think Brown averaged about a catch per game at ND.

I think Johnson is UM.
Biggest miss? No. I'd say Marvin jones maybe was. I'm sure there are others bigger.

Did we ever really have a serious chance with Marvin Jones? I never thought we'd take him away from FSU, because of his brother. We got a better LB a few years later: Ray Lewis, who was not as highly touted.

It almost always works that way. There are so many unsung Hs kids that emerge once they get into college. I mentioned the great TE of the '80's, Derrick Brown. He might have been USA Today Offensive POY and we ended up with better TEs who were not as highly touted like Shockey and Bubba Franks.

This Johnson kid, just based on what I'm reading here, sounds like a special player kind of like Ed Reed, even if others might have a bit more talent. We need that kind of kid. We used to have that, need it again to rise again to the top.

I understand how good he is but comparing him to Duke is wrong. he didnt commit over a yr ahead of NSD during the NCAA Bullcrap., and was helping recruiting the whole time. I dont care who you are if you LOVE a school then you should commit, recruit your friends, and never waiver......like Duke.
In my opinion a leader for your class should be commited by now. I think right now Patchan is that guy for us.

Duke Johnson leads by example, Jaquan does that and encourages his team. Miami will still be good in the future without Jaquan, but he will be the reason Miami beats FSU and helps Miami win the ACC. Difference between "good" & "great"

wut? c'mon mane

I'm telling you, especially on defense where Miami struggles, he will make an impact. He's all over the Field & makes game changing plays (interceptions, forced fumbles, pick 6, scoop and scores, big hits) players will play better just because he's on the field, they know that with him they can win any game. It's a Tebow effect, just watch when he plays in a few years for UM.

Yep. And look at his form. Perfect thumb alignment, fingers in the right position, etc. Lol.

Right. Excellent technique. He'll be game ready when he comes in, not much need to coach him up, no redshirt year for Jaquan.

Why the LOL? I'm **** serious.

Good tournament Carol City beat Champagnat 35-34 in overtime. It was some good talent out there yesterday.

Johnson is close to Lamar Miller. Miller owes it all to Barrow...feathers ruffled over nothing.

Stay ignorant Miami fans.

Jaquan is a legit stud.

Clarington passes the eye test.

Buckshot could possibly be our 2nd qb in '16 pending his development and season.

Newbold is not as well known as like a Bruce, Mullins or Salomon just yet. But he's just as good if not better. Newbold is the real deal. Lot of people including myself and others have been talking about Newbold for some time. Electric, fast, quick, twitchy and the moves and most of all.... Really good balance and footwork.

Salomon I don't see coming here but he is a good one. Wasn't so high on him till I had saw more of his recent stuff.

One last thing. Carol City is legit again. Been some time but their back. Trayone Gray was a sign of things to come for them.

Legit players like

CB Fenton '15
WR Newbold '16
QB Buckshot '16

Carol City going to be a threat again in Dade County.
