In my absolute sickening disgust last night, am I wrong or did these too play really well last night?

Now I'm sure Linder got beat up a few times that someone who has the stomach to rewatch will notice but for an undersized kid, playing out of position, a low ranked kid, he held his ground quite well when I saw him. I know GT isn't much up front though but he didn't allow much. I do remember him getting beat once but Kaaya moved out of it.

Chad though played one of the best games on the defense. Played disciplined and his athleticism and length jump off the screen. He's going to be a star if he can be saved. Thought Owens played really well too.

Trying to find something else to talk about.

If there is a coaching change at the end of the year, the good news is that Golden's 2014 class is a **** of a lot more complete than Shannon's 2010 class.

Pleasantly surprised with Linder. I would not mind an OL that looks like this next year (left to right): Gadbois, McDermott, Linder, Isidora, Darling.

I think CHad plays the same position as chikillo, Chickillo always played well against GT when we went to the 4-3 defense that we always run then we go back to 3-4 and he is quiet rest of season. I expect as much from chad until he is bulked up to 300 pounds, becomes renewed and expects victory.

Very pleased with both.....we definitely have some very good young players. Now they need to be put in the right scheme

I said the same thing regarding classes in the other thread. Last years class is loaded from top to bottom.

Isadora is is another kid that seems to have really put that Louisville game in the rear view. With Linder it was crazy how noticeably smaller he was than everyone else but he consistently stood his man up and didn't give up an inch. Looks like a good one in the making once his weight training catches up. Not sure the staff wanted him playing this year.

This team with solid coaches and Kaaya at the helm would be lethal. Would love to see some of the 2012 recruits under a good staff.

Enjoy watching them this year. Once this staff gets another year with them they'll end up regressing till they reach the NFL.

With his mobility and athleticism and a little work in the weight room, Linder looks like he can be an elite college center. I also think Isadora looks much much better than he did in the first couple of weeks. Suddenly it looks like the o-line should be pretty solid next year. Chad was great too last night. But I think that's the guy we all expected to see. I can't wait to see him and AQM lined up opposite each other.

but but but Chickillo is a Sr and playing lights out! lol- ( some
posters in here are funny)
this is not a knock on chick, because i think he was suited to be a DT after his soph year, but thomas is the best DE we have period!!
His range are off the charts!

I was very happy to see chad contribute early and often and nick looks like a chip off the block. Onlything that sucks is i woke up and al and co still had jobs.

This, chad will be a beast for the next head coach, i thought chick should have been a DT coming out of high school because of his style of play

Chad Thomas
Nick Linder
Darrion Owens
Brad Kaaya
Braxton Berrios
Courtel Jenkins
Joe Yearby
Trent Harris
KC McDermott

Pretty **** good start for this freshman class. Honorable mention to Gayot for providing the funniest moment of the evening even though it was at the end of a crippling play.

I watched both Linder & Chad a lot last night. We didn't miss a beat with Linder in the game. Chad is so **** athletic GT had a hard time trying cut him on the edge. He was almost always in the right place to make a play. Unfortunately most of the defense wasn't. Fentress was killing me slowly last night. Our staff is incompetent.

You could really see how slow Chick is last night. Chad jumped off the screen on how quick he is. If they do the same thing and bulk him up, it will be the same result.

Chick should be playing at 255-260

Has chick? cause i make it a point to watch him every game and he is as mediocre as it comes

There was some camp where Linder was just pancaking everyone, wasn't there? Undersized but plays with great leverage

Talent is not the problem with this team. We can talk about a few more kids that are doing it!!! We need better coaching.

But the coaches want to put this on the kids!!! REALLY, COME ON BLAKE
