Nick Lennear overtime TD

This was the tone setter commit for the class. Man, killed me watching us never get this type of kid for 15 years but that’s the ticket to being back back. Once No Cut was in, the floodgates opened.

Other people already mentioned it, but awesome route. Love how he slowed down to let the Corner bite. Didn't hurry or panic. Just really great feel. Very difficult for DBs to read that type of change of pace.

That's the stuff that transfers up to higher level competition. QB could have thrown that a tad more outside and it would have helped him.

Also, whoever #17 is for West Boca,

Please do not offer him.

Terrible job.

1. He's too square while playing against a Red Zone route. He's supposed to play back to the Sideline at a 45⁰ angle & completely cut off the pylon

2. Knowing he has the End Zone literally 5-8yds to his back he should've been closer to the line & pressed immediately instead of giving a free release.

3. He's supposed to jam & steer the WR to the sideline, as soon as Nick gets off the line he should've engaged.

4. He let Nick get too far into his chest & therefore wasn't able to get in phase quick enough to locate the ball.

It was a terrific catch by Nick, but it was absolutely terrible coverage by the Corner.

Just curious, how do you differentiate between a bad rep(s) and a recruit that shouldn't be offered.

It was a joke in reference to previous years when we used to offer really slow DB's & people would be forced to pretend like they were good.

I don’t actually care if we offer him or not, I'm pretty sure we have much bigger targets we're after for the 28 class.

Everything I say isn't always meant to be taken literally.

My bad, knowing your background, I found it odd that one rep could affect your thoughts on whether he should be offered. Makes sense now.
