St. Thomas Aquinas 2016 defensive end Nick Bosa has seen a host of colleges roll through during this spring evaluation period. While several have been in to watch the 6-foot-2, 250-pound four-star prospect, Bosa named three he has been talking outside of the on campus evaluations.

-Says “Florida State, Clemson, Ohio State was here, South Carolina I think came today, Pitt, Miami was here a couple days,” listed as programs that have visited him this spring. “I mean, I talk to Florida State a little bit, I talk to Ohio State of course and then I talk to Miami, I’ve called them a couple times.”

-UM is one school that really impressed Bosa during a campus visit this offseason.

-Says “I talk to [Mark] D’Onofrio and I talk to the defensive line coach,” “I actually visited campus to see UM, that was nice. A few weeks ago, it was like a junior day. I was just walking around with everybody else and then coach [Al] Golden pulled me off and I got to talk to him in his office. He told me that he wanted to offer me and he wanted me to look at UM.

-Says “It’s really nice down there. I had never been there and the school is really cool and the coaches are really nice. I love coach Golden, he’s a good guy. He’s just really cool, chill and down to earth, which is nice.”

-Noles extended an offer to Bosa this offseason as well, but he has yet to visit their campus.

-Says “Coach [Bill] Miller, he just wants me to get up and visit, just get to experience Florida State and keep my mind open. It’s obviously crazy, they just won the national championship and they’re definitely a team I’m going to look at.”

-has a strong connection to the Buckeyes with his older brother, Joey, a sophomore defensive end at Ohio State, and his mother an OSU alum as well. Does the fact his older brother is a Buckeye help in Nick’s recruitment?

-Says “The thing is, him being there gives me more of an inside look at Ohio State,” “It doesn’t really make me like them more.”

-has plans to commit prior to his senior season in the same fashion his older brother did. Therefore, he’s looking at wanting to make a pledge in around a year from now. He will first delve deep into his recruitment with a rather extensive visit schedule this summer.

-Says “I want to visit Bama, Florida State, maybe Florida, probably another trip to Ohio State and maybe see a couple more Big Ten schools like Wisconsin. Maybe go up to Notre Dame because they are sending me a lot of letters and coach is talking to me.”

Lol did the Bosa's have a bad experience with Urb? That article sounded a little suspicious.

Not convinced he ends up at OSU at all, but even if he doesn't, I think we are on the outside looking in. Joey basically told us to kick rocks and it doesn't seem like Nick is a big fan either. Too bad.

if you know that "He Gone" dont read the thread

YES SIR

Joey may leave before Nick even comes so it may be way more about does OSU convince him and.......... the article didnt seem like he was all that impressed with them. With that said he's a 2016 kid so worrying about him is a waste of time right now

UM has those back door STA guys ( Moten and Linder from the 2014 class) in his ear. I agree Joey Bosa will leave early for the NFL and with a very good year on the field for UM especially on defense combined with hopefully landing 2015 WR Peete, could weigh heavily on Bosa leaning toward staying home with UM. I wouldn't put to much stock in the Mom being an OSU alumni when it comes to Nick because he dad played at Boston College but Joey didn't go that route.

Joey Bosa doesn't seem to happy at OSU, which could tie into the comment Nick Bosa made about being able to see the behind the scenes real OSU and doesn't make him like them more.

The only time he really seemed to perk up is when he talked about going home miami before the team flew down for the Orange Bowl.

Based on this article it seems he had a hard time adjusting as did Shazier.

Phillip, Linder and Jelani didn't influence Joey and Linder + Moten won't influence Nick Bosa

I don't get why you're spinning and twisting their words to get our hopes up....Nothing they said was out of the ordinary.

Ya'll need to read the miami herald article Joey Bosa plan out said he had a hard time adjusting to OSU. But interpretation is subjective.

Keep in mind the kid is still playing there so he is not going to openly bash the program when he has potentially 1 more year.

He blamed himself for not working hard and admitted that he needed an attitude adjustment. Absolutely nothing about being disgruntled about the team...

Let agree to disagree rather than argue about something that may or may not occur 2 years from now. This way we won't thread jack.

From what I heard Bosa favors OSU but is not like his older brother. I've heard he may actually go elsewhere and stay at one of the in state schools. His recruitment will be interesting.
