Gotta have him… not worried Mario will close this down. The boogeyman for WR crooting is gone at OSU
Watch him be an early commit to USF lolGotta have him… not worried Mario will close this down. The boogeyman for WR crooting is gone at OSU
Well I’d just have to laugh at that point… Mario is an elite recruiter and I don’t think even he could do that with high end talent at FIUWatch him be an early commit to USF lol
There is no issue with investment. We are targeting the top guys and offering a ton of money. Just got to win more battles. Consistent production and players like Toney will help.Although we didn’t expect 10 to be the level of player he is, you’d hope us seeing it first hand would entice us to begin investing big time in the elite offensive skill guys. I guess we’ll see.
This is ridiculous. Every year, you squeeze ****-juice out of your eyelids if we don't sign enough highly-rated guys per the Composite. You have never stood up and argued for the quality of Miami's evaluations.
But now you're all about "nothing in sports is an exact science". If it's not, why are you splitting pubic hairs over whether Wingo and Parris are "elite" or "merely very good"?
The reality is, sports IS an exact science whenever you complain about what Miami is doing, and it's NOT an exact science when a player like Malachi Toney exceeds your expectations.

Going off historyYou know this, or are you just going off history? Because that’s not what I’m hearing.
OK, so then you don’t know anything about this current situation. You should say that because when you come on here and make the comment you did, it gets everybody thinking there’s no way we get this kid and that’s not the truth.Going off history
Jacolby George.Whats the player comp for this kid? Size/speed/skill

Jacolby George.
He tracks the deep ball better though.
or
We’ve had numerous players apparently love Miami until recruiting picked up for them during their senior seasons and then things changed.OK, so then you don’t know anything about this current situation. Yeah, I understand that but like I said, you don’t know anything about this situation. And when you make a post like you did, it leads people to believe we have no chance here, and that is simply not the truth. We lead in this recruitment right now. The past is the past, it has no bearing on the future. We’ve had numerous players apparently love Miami until recruiting picked up for them during their senior seasons and then things changed.
Hopefully we get him but I’ve been following recruiting a long time and we rarely get these types of players. Rarely.
jacolby is on the top 10 wrs list at um production wise. I also stated nick is better at tracking the deep ball.I hear you, but I’ve seen us up the ante and not lose battles for OT’s (Cantwell reported north of $2M for first year) and make others bow out. I’m sure both Mauigoa and Samson in the same class were extremely costly. I’d bet money that we have bowed out for 5* WRs and deemed it not worth it. I know we have the money, I just don’t think WR is as important to us as QB/OL/DL. *And if thats what you believe in and it works, then stand on it. I just would like to see us be stubborn and have the same attitude for 5* perimeter guys.
Some of them probably weren’t worth what they were demanding I’m sure, but 3 full cycles is a big sample size. All JMO.
Sales, Lennear, and Bowman appear to be next up. Those are guys who have all shown serious interest in us and already have visited. Let’s find out.
*I’ll also add I really do like our ‘26 WR class, for whatever that’s worth. Through the roof upside with all of the guys.
Way more dynamic and talented IMO. This kid will stretch the field and be a real deep threat on the next level. I can count on one hand and have a couple fingers to spare how many times Jacolby scored on a vertical shot throughout his time here. He was a good player for us and made a ton of plays, but this kid is a different tier as a prospect IMO. I don’t even think it’s close honestly.
How any blue chip is considering FSU right now boggles my mind.
While UF fumbled their search, they can at least sell a new vision, if nothing else.
I'm with you all day here. Jacolby without the bull**** would be a must get. Definitely.jacolby is on the top 10 wrs list at um production wise. I also stated nick is better at tracking the deep ball.
If his floor is Jacolby George that is really good. I think the comp is close at this point, i aint going crazy with my comps ..and Nick is playing ona souped up team. He is a must get target for me though...I like Nicks demeanor when ive seen him...we all call it that dawg.
