Honestly I think we need to thank Coach Richt for laying the foundation. He made it a point of showing up with players at the youth football games.

ALWAYS said that was major because there are soo many ways the university can do community outreach that would pay huge dividends with simple investment.. The university was soo insulated and out of touch. for years.. God bless coach Richt!

You have to weed thru the bs and find the cane diehard kids an focus on THEM.

Nick seems like one..Mali was one etc...shower those types with recruiting priority.

We still have a ton of haters locally...like a ton ..cesspool sh*t. But you have to build with those types foundation wise. (Bain, Wes, Mali, etc)

no its just ppl who arent um fans but from Miami, Broward, Palm...we have a ton of them that arent actually happy were winning cause they are gators, noles, or sec lovers. Not a specific bunch...

That has been the case forever!

I think it is more important to land elite talent that is all about working hard to win. They don’t need to be Canes fans but it sure does help.
