I've been critical of Mario lately, but this was a dominant win today. There are clear signs of improvement along the OL and DL, WRs surprised this year, and a slew of young guys played significant minutes. Game day coaching needs to improve, but Mario was improved the physicality and mental toughness of this team big time. We were in every game this year, and just a kneel down from being 8-4. Win our bowl and finish strong with recruiting and in the portal to set a positive tone for 2024. Go Canes!

Things to work on in the offseason from player personal, coaches, game day management(Mario please get someone you trust in the booth in your ear)….

But all in all it was nice to see the team never quit all season especially those dog weeks in the middle of the season where TVD went awol and us starting a true freshmen QB

I know a lot of people here think we're never going to be great again and maybe they're right, but I truly think we could've been at least 9-3 if not 10-2 this year with our current roster. Still a long way to go, but at least a little more promising than last year.

I don't disagree. At an absolute minimum, we had the talent on the field to be 8-4. We aren’t 8-4, but that's not because of the on-field talent. Was there enough talent on the roster to beat UNC, NC State, FSU, or UL? I think the coaching cost us NC State and UL moreso than the roster. And UNC is just a boogeyman at this point.

Can our coaching improve, or recruit to such a talent advantage that their GameDay deficiencies are overcome? That will be the question under this regime.

Only a two win swing but no doubt a much different looking team

Still a ****ton to clean up but for a few hours I’ll be thrilled with a beat down of a team that would traditionally cause us fits, especially with a QB that can run like that

I'll take it.
