NFL Senior Bowl Director comments on a couple Canes

The Agude comments do not surprise me in the least. I've been banging the Agude drum since we signed him. Everything is on his tape.

In regards to Ivey, there is one huge factor people may be overlooking and that's the Addae factor. The coaching that young man is getting this year is head and shoulders above what Ivey has had in the past. Take all that experience and untapped GameDay potential then add one of the best defensive staffs in the country and the chances that Ivey has a breakthrough senior year are greatly increased. It isn't just Addae and the position coaching, it's also the scheme that will benefit Ivey. No more 10 yard cushions on 3rd and 6. No more passive soft zone while every LB blitzes and are caught up on blocks creating a huge hole in the middle of the field. Now Ivey can do what he has always meant to do and that is press man, bump and run etc...

Scheme is the theme!

This is Agude's last dance as he is a 6th year redshirt senior and is expecting his first grandchild in January. I wonder if his roster listed weight of 255 will change after being here with the new trainers. 3rd down is going to be exciting this year.

Man if DJ Ivey could put together a decent season, he might mess around and be a day 2 pick..

Everyone loves this kid..

he looks like a created player, but he just needs himself to start playing with the needed confidence.
Man stop, I have a better chance at being drafted then Ivey

Your expert backing to go all in on Ivey again? Lol.

For the sake of the program and for DJ, let’s hope you are finally right in Ivey and helps to bring us back as a program.

From your fingertips to God’s ears…

It’s an excellent point, but in fairness to the CIS faithful, we’ve heard about Ivey’s Greentree greatness for 3 consecutive years only to be bitterly disappointed come Saturdays.
