I would love for the Falcons to get David Njoku to go along with Julio Jones would be ridiculous...

but I also want Robert Foster, Jabril Peppers, or that Obi guy from UCONN.

Hoping the Dolphins draft either Peppers, Taco Charlton, Charles Harris or Dalvin Cook.

They'll probably end up taking Forrest Lamp.

I hope not. Nothing against Lamp, but in the first round, I want someone at a more impactful position. I think Lamp goes in round 2.

I agree. Hope Foster drops, MLB to me seems like the 2nd most impactful position behind QB.

Daryl Gardener over Ray Lewis in 96'
Tannehill over Kuechly in 12'.

Can totally get behind this, but can't get behind taking Jabrill Peppers over Lamp (or any other legitimate 1st rounder) unless we have a specific and creative plan for him to play Rover.

Grace and AQM were our 2 best defensive players going into last season. We were talking 2nd round for Quan and 3rd for Grace as recently as 9 months ago. Now they're in trouble of going UFA? I will conclude there are a lot of weak GMs out there if someone doesn't take a flyer on them by the 5th round.

The NFL Draft has become the Oscars and people talking about fashion. What in the actual **** is going on?

I think they each have a place in the league.

Lamp that good Lu?...never seen em'.

Several of us seemed to agree that the Dolphins should pass on Lamp in the first round, but when miadolphins.com looked at recent mock drafts from 23 national media entities, it found that eight of them had the 'phins selecting Lamp first. Nobody else got the nod on more than 2 of them. Jimmy Johnson told The Miami Herald that he would not take Lamp that early. We'll find out later tonight.

Wouldn't surprise me if NE doesn't drop a late round pick on AQM, or Grace. Not a fan of the Pats,.. But bill always has a knack for pulling in talent.

He's good enough and can play Center. I rather not get Lamp, but I'd prefer him over Peppers. If the Dolphins had any kind of vision, they'd wait for Foster to drop, or Cook, or Deshaun Watson. If not, trade the F back. If it's not available, then Lamp is solid and versatile enough. I'd even consider Cam Robinson and drop him at RG/RT over some of those Big10 dudes.

I guess we can finally put to rest Kaaya being the first player / QB / ACC QB taken.

Mike Mayock guessing Fournette to the Bears. Yikes, my dude. Forgot they had a rookie who killed it last year. At least he remembered and quickly took it back. Mayock's usually the man, so this was really odd.
