Another 6-6 year (at best).

FSM forbid we go 7-5 or 8-4. The 'we are improving' rhetoric would be at eleven.
 
My Prediction/Hope is Golden gets fired week 9 or 10. I think that is probably the very earliest we can fire him.
Also firing him at such an early time, puts us in a great position to get a head start on determining who will be our next HC.
It also lets all those stud 2016 recruits know fairly early that we will be getting a new guy. I think this will really give these recruits time to react to the firing and give the next head coach enough time to make a strong push toward keeping these studs. A firing after a bowl game would be absolutely terrible for us.

Worst case scenario for this season: 7-8 wins and keeping Golden.
However I really think that because we are getting a new president we will be firing Golden with anything less than an ACC championship, which is impossible (not due to talent).

If it was just about Talent then we would go 10 - 2. FSU and Clemson are the only 2 teams on paper that has better talent.

But with Golden as our Coach... I cant see us winning more than 7 games.

Nebraska - W (Cane home game, new staff at Nebraska, no Abdullah)
Cincinnati - W (We've got a better roster - I'll be at the game)
Fsu - L (Golden can't beat Jimbo)
V Tech - L (the team never recovers from losing to FSU)
Clemson - L (Another L - Clemson might be the best team in the ACC next year)
Duke - W (Instead of trying to run it down our throats and win, Duke will pass too much and lose)
Virginia - L (Golden is afraid of Mike London - But this game, being at home, could be a Miami win)
North Carolina - L (Chizik will be the upgrade they need to compete for the Coastal crown)
Georgia Tech - L (Could be another win, if GT has a gang of turnovers, or our offense scores over 40 points)
Pitt - W (Narduzzi always seemed like a better DC than HC to me. But cold weather in Pitt could mean a loss. - I'll be at this game, too)

Best case, 8-4 ... Worst case, 5-7.

Likely scenario ... 6-6, and we go bowling with an interim HC.
 
6-6. Golden will pound his chest about betting cook fau cincy and rebuilding of Pitt and neb think we get Virginia this year but UNC will bury us along with FSU Clem gtech duke and bud foster will dial something up for golden

I think they win 6 games, but I would not doubt a 5 win season as the team will be deflated after the FSU, VaTech, Clemson, Duke stretch.
