Next week UNC will be a much harder game...

Which is pretty much what OP is saying. Don't let our performance against Duke lull you into thinking UNC will be a cakewalk.

We're not to the point where we can drop a game and have all the talking heads say they just weren't paying attention. They'll say we suck and all our victories were flukes.
Our DL was just pinning their ears back and getting after Brice. Literally, did he throw it downfield more than 15 yards at all, aside from the late interception?

It was effective in stopping Duke, but you did see Duke gash us on the ground a few times cause of the lanes that opened up (Jennings is awful at the 2nd level... he is a poor man’s Pinkney, without the instincts. If he doesn’t make a play coming downhill and filling a lane, he is worthless). Phillips had a tendency to get pushed upfield past the QB, which will open up running lanes that Howell can take advantage of.

I’m happy that our young CBs got significant burn this game. Idk if Couch was tested at all. I kind of hope he matches up with Daz N all game. Couch looks to have the skill set best suited to slow Daz down. Blades and Ivey would get roasted.

Glad we had this game with Dook to get the rust out, we looked very good...

But.....UNC will be a much harder game, and Howell had a great game yesterday.

We better make the transition from the scrimmage against Dook, to be ready to play a good team.
They have talented passing game, and will bring it against King

Let's go.....

Thanks for posting.
Will take into consideration.

Bar none, they’re the most delusional fan base in college football. For whatever reason, they think their success in basketball translates to their football program and gives them a level of prestige or respect. They are a Gasparilla Bowl level football program that occasionally, once or twice a decade, shows some signs of life (signs of life meaning a chance at a NY6 bowl game; they’ve never gotten close to touching a NC in their 100+ year history).

We will be fighting on two fronts.... against UNC and against the shady #ACCRefs that will do everything in their power to give UNC the game.
What we did against Duke was great... but that's history now...

Always a possibility. That has been a real problem against this team ever since joining the ACC. You get a special degree of bad officiating against the ACC's favorite Tobacco Road child. The only way to avoid this is to play a very clean game like they did at Duke.

My peen is longer than any duke second half drive. Yall talking about these gashing runs by Duke like they actually did sumn.
