I'm not advocating that we go the NFL route but anyone have any possible REALISTIC names that we might/should target that are currently employed there? Just wanted to have them all one thread (if there are any).

I’m not saying I want this to happen — I actually would dislike it — but I remember that Hugh Jackson was a candidate when the job opened up years ago. He might throw his hat in the ring. We should stay away.

Haha. I believe he actually just signed an extension with Seatlle and he's deceptively wayyyy older than he appears.

It's not as hot a name as it used to be but Carroll's former OC Darrell Bevell used to be rumored for EVERY job opening (in the NFL).

We DEFINITELY should stay away. I can see us giving him a freakin' interview though.

Why doesn't the Saints OC get more buzz? I know Payton calls the plays but as lazy as the NFL (and college a lot of time) is with hires you'd think that just the association to Payton/Brees would open doors.
