Larry Fedora would be a good sneaky hire... who wants to be at UNC forever? Would resolve their offensive issues and get him out of the coastal.

Butch Davis is 66 years old, the UF job would probably kill him.

UF needs a young coach who can deal with the absolute misery of that town, their boosters and that fan base on top of trying to beat the FSUs, UGAs and Alabama's of the world on the field and out recruit everyone else off of it.

Absolutely brutal job and why everyone besides two HOF coaches have flamed out of.
 
Florida isnt a bad gig. SEC East isnt tough. It's beat GA each year to make the conference championship, with BCS finals as prize if you win the SEC.

Butch's time has passed. No big time SEC team is hiring a dude closing in on '70 for a rebuild.

UF will have to significantly overpay to get any coach of name value there. It's a top tier program but it is not a good quality of life job by any means.

Frost is a possibility; Tom Osborn would counsel him against it, given how UFelony is dumping Shark Teeth and the 'Husker job waiting for him, but some "indications" are that Frost's new wife is a real diva wannabe...Being a Power 5 HC wife in the $EC is such a trip.
