New Uniforms Confirmed by McMurphy

they need to make LSU's out of this sht so when we stomp a mudhole in them it won't hurt the environment

Idk, I have to disagree (although I’m arguably an old head these days).

When you’re an institution with tradition like UM, you don’t **** with it. That shut is for the Oregon’s of the world.

Miami, USC, Nebraska, Michigan, PSU.. the unis symbolize a history of winning. If it helps with recruiting I’m all for it. But I think winning helps regular unis look a lot cooler.
 
Those uniforms look great and I like the color of the cleats to go with it.

And the commercial is sick. Hurricanes / storm coming out of the water then on land

Miamis never been traditional though we have always **** on the old ways of cfb.
 
Anyone know if they’re gonna sell these anywhere? I don’t hate them like most, for an alternate obviously never the real thing.
 
god yall can't be serious. Literally all that is different is the shoulder is green, holy ****. somehow that makes the uniform terrible. yall tripping.

Our unis are great. This alternate makes them look ONLY above average. quit *****in, its one game, and all the auction money goes to our marine program, and like 80% of the material is recycled which is cool. And adidas chose US to wear this for the first time ever, chill.

I agree that the unis should stay traditional due to our history & prominence in CFB. That's exactly where Adidas went with ours, though. Most schools nowadays will wear alternates for a game or 2 to sell jerseys. That's all this is, & ours doesn't differ from the original as much as some of the others.

1. They didn't fvck with the helmet. To me, that matters most.
2. Our regular unis this year are the best in many, many years.
3. This is just one game and they aren't that bad. Would I buy one? No. But I'm not going to sit here bytching about them either. They're straight.

the helmets we have now cant be improved they r set to me, i dont mind if they did it for a game or two though.

They are going to be auctioning off the game worn jerseys and the money is going to the University of Miami's Rosenstiel School of Marine and Atmospheric Science.

Here's a quote from the original press release:

"Starting August 27, the Miami x Parley A1 uniforms will be auctioned off with the proceeds going to the Rosenstiel School of Marine and Atmospheric Science to launch a fund for educational research.

Each fall, the Rosenstiel School of Marine and Atmospheric Science welcomes 100-plus undergraduate students who are eager to begin their studies in the marine sciences. To enhance and expand the first year experience, Rosenstiel will develop a fund from the adidas/Parley auction proceeds that will provide the resources to support a one-day "research at sea" cruise for all first-year students aboard the research vessel F.G. Walton Smith. The cruise will provide a hands-on experiential learning opportunity that has never before been available for the first-year students."

I'm not sure if they are going to make a replica version for fans to purchase.
