Mario during Viti's interview
Great post, sir.Suffice it to say, Cristobal realized that we don't have a 6th ring because our portal TE was unable to block on punt safe when Indiana didn't have punt block on and was applying token pressure. We will not lose another ship cause our TEs can't block.
Now hopefully, we won't lose a ship cause our TEs can't catch.![]()
“You don’t get the show.”So just because these three were great players means they are going to be good coaches right? ****** amateur hour here
Well, for once he missed a slot
I can still hear Mario saying we want to play with "violence" over and over! This team has built an identity of "we're going to knock you f'in teeth out" and I love it!!!Def won’t be having TEs missing blocks on punts anymore

Probably easy to understand but not widely known, the Marines are the youngest braanch of the military by age of members. All they need is killers without being burdened with older job skill MOS's, like the other branches. Yes, a slight exagerationbut factually true.Army you say, guess he’s not ready to be a marine yet
Berwick is a 6 time state champion football team from coal country PA. Ron Powlus, Bo Orlando, Gus Felder all played for them.hes from berwick pennsylvania wherever that is
Go to 15:10 in the video. Bauman ignored the outside rusher here too. The Pitt player stopped. Indiana's player didn't.
With the talent in our RB room, the three set RB packages we could do would just be unfair. Dawson & Co. can get real inventive thereWe have now brought in a former triple option QB to coach RBs (was Upshaw at GA Southern when Monken was there too? - just thought about that connection) and a former triple option RB/triple option OL coach to coach TEs. Makes you wonder what they're thinking behind the scenes or if there's something new they're incorporating there.
Also, speculating on assistant coaching hires is completely pointless now. Nobody mentioned either of these dudes the entire time. Corner will probably be exactly the same.
Two things come to mind with this hire…
One…Mario a former OL who was a GA working with TEs and spent some time as a TE coach while primarily being an OL coach means he doesn’t see any issue with the transition.
And two he wants to get more creative with run blocking schemes and getting the guy with best OL from the service academies is a home run from that perspective
When we hire Paul Johnson as an analyst I won't be surprised. With the talent in our RB room, the three set RB packages we could do would just be unfair. Dawson & Co. can get real inventive there

Bo Orlando was from there too. Played in the league for a while.
I agree. I also would think that OL/TEs work together a ton anyway. When it’s time for pass catching work, the TEs would go to Beards group. I absolutely love this hire.Def valid, but that is our identity, whether we like it or not. He matches our identity perfectly IMO. I think this will greatly benefit our big TEs like Gilbert and Mueller. .02
