perfect cultural fit and he’ll actually make his room work and not be soft on blocking duties. But I’m scared we are making the room too one dimensional. I can’t imagine he has any experience with passing concepts.

If there’s anyone in the country that can teach McConathy to be an effective blocking TE and see the field, it’s this guy.

Plus, more natural pass catching TEs like Mueller could go nuclear with this guy teaching them blocking.

I like the strategy and see the vision.

I like it. MOAR O-LINE Guys. Mario, Mirabal, Mike. I agree about the Muschamp level psychopathy in the pictures that I dig. Fletcher about to run for 2500 yards this year.

Very interesting hire... he's basically been an Army lifer! Found this on his resume which makes the move slightly odd from a timing standpoint "In the winter of 2025, Viti was promoted to Associate Head Coach / Offensive Line." So he basically just got promoted there and now leaves 2.5 months later. Who knows what his motive is, I'm sure he got a significant pay bump and maybe he aspires to be a future OC or HC. Culturally he fits Mario but does he fit recruiting athletes down here and nationally? Time will tell. Either way - love that he's a grinder and loyal. Welcome Coach!

Suffice it to say, Cristobal realized that we don't have a 6th ring because our portal TE was unable to block on punt safe when Indiana didn't have punt block on and was applying token pressure. We will not lose another ship cause our TEs can't block.

Now hopefully, we won't lose a ship cause our TEs can't catch. 😏

Mario …. Man oh man!! The man can even recruit a coach his alma mater where he worked for 10 years!! Again another hire from WAY LEFT FIELD! I’m cool with it.

What ?’s? Not saying you are right/wrong, legitimately curious. Like I said above, I personally think he fits right in so just curious why you think that. Army is a smashmouth ball club and their OL/TE’s are strong especially in the run game. I think he is a clear upgrade over Woodiel. I’m surprised we were able to poach a long time service academy coach though but I like it.
Army runs the triple option offense, UM doesn’t. Hopefully this works out it’s not like Woodiel was that good to be honest. I think this hire might be an upgrade.
