New Show: "State of the State"

I'm starting a new show with TJ Pittinger (FSU) and Ali Peek (UF) where we discuss the Big 3 teams in the state. Based on the earlier thread (which got merged with Gator Tears), it will generate plenty of discussion. We did our first show today and it was fun. I'm feeling zen with the Canes on top.

@DMoney love the show some good takes.....but why did you spare the UF chick taking shots at Mario personally with respect development of QBs when Justin Herbert was a 1st rounder and has been pretty darn good in the NFL who was also a HS recuit of Mario. Bring a good guy doesn’t mean you have to defend UM and the CMC!!

Herbert technically wasn’t a Mario recruit. I don’t really care about developing a HS QB so that’s the approach I took. Who cares if Sumrall “developed” Mensah at Tulane when he wins a Heisman for Miami.
 
Respect.... I just did not like the smugged digs she was trying to insinuate and you being the bigger guy and allowing her to make it seem like it was ok to take shots at UM and CMC.
 
I was pleasantly surprised that the other two hosts weren’t completely insufferable. @DMoney great as always but this style “big 3” podcast would be elite if it was three former players like ahmmon

Hate to agree. He started off as a pure troll, so obviously I wished death and despair on everyone in his family and everyone he knows. But after he grew his following he’s now switched to being relatively unbiased. Still an fsu fan, which is fine, I guess…but I gotta give him one (1) flower. He calls it how it is, for the most part.
 
Much respect to D$ for putting out the best Canes content by far, but I can’t bring myself to listen to this one.

Until FSU becomes a competitive program again then he will put those glittery feathered garnet and gold raybans on and talk immense piles of nonsense

I agree when it comes to the fact that portal quarterbacks are what win in today’s game but that little UF podcaster you had on there was disrespectful in the shots She was taking against UM and I wish you would’ve fired back at her. If it was a guy podcaster, I believe you would’ve but disrespect is disrespect, and it needs to be called out, regardless of gender. Right when I heard her little snarky, comment of Mario is not good at developing quarterbacks, I immediately turned off the show. What quarterback has the University of Florida developed over the last few years, zero!
