New Rivals 300 (Rivals + On3 merger)

Why not?

Average star rating is the superior metric.
Don’t agree. Top tier players are worth a LOT more, 20 years of data to back that.

A team with five 5 stars (.9800) and five 3 star projects that a coach loves (.8500) would be an average of .9150.

That is a far superior class than ten 4 stars ranked in the 200-300 range with same ranking (.9150).

But we have an “Elite recruiter”

Mario is still one of the top recruiters in the country- nobody can argue against that. It makes it so much harder to get these high classes consistently when your development and on-the-field results have been **** poor for 15-20 years. How is it so hard for people to figure this one out lol

1 recruit in the Top 100

That’s not elite recruiting

Again, kids clearly aren't buying what Mario and the rest of the staff are pitching at the moment. If fans are still skeptical that Mario can bring us back to the promise land, why would these recruits buy in. The lack of on-the-field results and NFL Development have made it 10x harder. At the end of the day, Mario is still one of the most skilled recruiters out there. The on-the-field results need to improve drastically inorder to take this to the next level

Y’all kill me, this time two years ago Miami had one top 100 player, then Scott flipped, Blount flipped. Lightfoot to five star, Booker Pickett jumped 200 spots to top 75… let the senior year play out and let it get to signing day before y’all evaluate how many “top 100” players sign.

What's crazy is... when we were shvtty but use to have a high ranking class in the summer.... rival fans never cried. They were 100% confident that we would not finish that high. They were intelligent enough to understand a full season had to get played first.

Boy it hurt to type "rival fans" and "intelligent" in the same paragraph but you guys have taken this shvt to another level. When fsu finish with 6 or less wins, I want all Y'all who keep wondering how they're "recruiting so good" to stand on business!!

Reread. You certainly do agree.

I don’t see Cooper as elite either. Good prospect but the real value he would bring is our team ranking would increase. If he comes great and if not no problem.

I really don't get why On3 bought Rivals and is now fully just putting rivals branding on their recruit rankings lol. Like what the **** was the point of that? Rivals has a bad brand. Like that's the entire point of why 247 took over and then On3 was even created... I don't get it at all...

Maybe nostalgia? Didn’t the same guy create all 3?

List not valid. While I’m sure he’ll be a fine college QB, in no way is he the #1.
