@blackvern Why are you negging my posts with no comments? Wait... You can’t show your grin your Noles might have a shot at Perry. I get it.Tate is the best answer for UF in that scenario. I prefer he starts against the Gator. Then eventually Jarren takes over. I know how it sounds but I want to win every game with no growing pains. I don’t see UF beating us with a QB that hits short passes, TEs down the middle, occasional deep balls, and can run. Especially with a suspect OL.
Actually Tate has been the best of the bunch throwing down the middle to TEs. You should know that if you’ve watched or even read reports from this spring or fall.So a 5'9 QB is gonna be good at throwing to tight ends over the middle??. Thats the one specific thing that he is not going to be good at!! I would agree with you about the growing pains of Jarren, unfortunately Tate has never started a college game in his life, yet along even participated in a competitive one so he has no more experience then Jarren.
Whoever starts will go through growing pains. It won’t be pretty. I guess Perry has the least issues because he has played before.
.....But if you MUST put a guy out there in the first game because of experience then it should be Perry. At least you can argue for him in a sense, given his talent and given he played a lot last year...I cannot be Tate. No way. ...
Even posters who I consider somewhat reasonable, like yourself, or being made crazy by this quarterback competition.
To respond to the quote above: no they must not put out guy out there who you think should be put there, like Perry or anybody else.
They should put a guy there who the coaches think gives them the best chance to win, no matter who the posters here, think won the competition.
This was not a competition for you guys to decide whether it’s fair or not, it was a competition for the coaches to decide who gave them the best chance to win. I don’t give a fūck what anybody on here says, it’s their jobs on the line. And I’m good with whatever they put in at quarterback.
You people are starting to get crazy
Lmao man just say you want Tate to win...I'd respect that. This nonsense you just typed i cant respectActually Tate has been the best of the bunch throwing down the middle to TEs. You should know that if you’ve watched or even read reports from this spring or fall.

I want the best player. It appears Jarren has possibly had the best camp. Although we don’t see everything and who know what the coaches have seen in film.
However, I can’t see starting Jarren in his 1st game against uf. Not fair to the kid.
I see a scenario where Tate starts due to his mobility. Maybe Jarren gets the start next game.
Either way, I see packages where Tate may enter the game down the road regardless.
Perry transfers.
I’m just guessing.

Kid was a redshirt freshman last season whereas Rosier was a 5th year senior. Just saying...Did he not get Yanked. Yup for RoJeer
Why would anyone fear a QB that Could Not beat out RoJeer ? Let that sink in and I will wait for response.
Right because he throws such a pretty deep ball. Well atleast verts or posts... well atleast slants. Ok yeah slants.Perry would ball out in that verticle offense that Briles runs. That’s facts.
