Wait for it...

All you had to do was watch the Tennessee tape to see they didn't have the horses to compete with a legit P5 team that wasn't sleepwalking.

This aint the hillary selection process. There is no narrative to this.

App state is a decent mid-major. They're a 7-5 sunbelt team. Their interior lines will look better against Sun Belt competition.

It'll actually be that app state stunk just a little more than Tennessee does.

They barely beat Ohio today

The narrative certainly won't be that Ole **** would lose by 120 pts to Louisville, that we'd destroy Tennessee at night in their place or that Georgia State would beat LSU. Nahhhhh, those transitive property type deals only are used to prop UP the SEC.

Galloway killed Tennessee on the canes post game. Cannell called the Ohio game a trap game, but Galloway basically said, "No, Tennessee didn't almost get upset by mid major teams today and a couple weeks ago because the Vols underperformed , they just aren't a good team."

People asking me "Why the f*ck you talking about top 5 coaches in football let's talk about App St"?

Because true Cane Swagger don't give f*ck about Appl State Air Raid their *sses and wait for Semenhole week!

Not for nothing, some of us thought they weren't good at all.

When you read things like (in reference to FAU and App State)..."They both are sub-par opponents and would finish last in the Coastal. I can't believe we have a road game in Boone." I don't care what the media said about App State and what they say after the fact. It is simply bullchit talk.

This win means nothing, it was a practice on the road in front of some hicks. The season actually starts in 2 weeks against GT. I don't think GT is good at all and they will finish likely in the bottom 3 in the Coastal but it is a conference game and relevant.

Agree.

We did what we needed to do, but there's a lot of stuff to clean up.

Agreed completely

I don't understand a roll out pass option/run and then not throw it into the end zone? I mean people ripping Richt for not running I didn't mind the call but throw it in the end zone! Throw it away anything not throw it back to line of scrimmage!

UL is going to get so much press from their beatdown of FSU that there will be VERY little talk about our win. It'll simply be swept under the rug.

This will be the case all season, fellas. Get use to it.

We beat FSU... "Well, the Noles were missing Derwin James, who some say is the next Sean Taylor, and they're breaking in a new QB."

We beat Notre Dame... "Well, the Irish have been struggling all season with a depleted seconday, and those offseason arrests have clearly affected not only the teams depth, but their morale as well. Throughout it all, Brian Kelly's kept this team together."

We beat UNC... "Well, New QB..."

We beat V-Tech... "Well, new coach and system..."

We win the ACC... "Well, it was a down year for the traditional ACC powers..."

We win the championship... "Well, Al Golden certainly did a great job recruiting these players. Makes you wonder if they fired him prematurely."

They will never give us credit. NEVER.

Seriously? Even if FSU won the game, our victory would still be insignificant. Why?

We didn't beat anyone of relevance. There should be little to no talk about our win. I assure you, Richt isn't making a big deal about a team that is 1-14 against ranked opponents. It is a nothing win against a non-conference team.

Lotta truth in this post.

Post of the Day.

What this board always needed was a Wartime Consigliere!

Your last one is missing- "They had to get a coach from the SEC to win again"
