If we keep all the $ it's not so bad. Depends if all the conferences get equal TV $ via the new bill in congress. So yeah it depends.

Not really. Said coach is part of the Adidas investment into youth football. They without a doubt should have made it more clear he is sponsored by Adidas but a ton of the 7v7 teams are.

You have a clear Nike propagandist on here spreading propaganda left and right and you are eating it up. Same thing really.

I have the opposite. I bought an XL and my daughter wore it as a sleep shirt. I'm sure they sized it for someone 6'2" 130 lbs.

No, it doesn't depend. I was citing huge one-year-bump percentages to demonstrate how unreliable that stat can be.

The "all the extra CFP money" thing is over, due to the change in CFP payouts this year.

And the "success payments" from the ACC, while helpful and moderate, do not close the gap between us and the P2 schools.

Lets see how things are structured and then we can determine what's best. If the TV deals are all distributed evenly to the conferences then not sure we need to leave. It'll be likely some of the teams from the BIG and SEC would be tempted to leave actually.

From what D$ was saying we are waiting until the dust settles to make a move.

You people are ridiculous with this stuff. Adidas is selling a ton of apparel and saying a magical Swoosh means it's magically sized better and better QC and better and bestest and betterestest is on its face absurd. They literally use many of the same manufacturers.

I learned long ago all brands ***** up. Case in point I am very disappointed with the new Converse 70's Nike is making. It's got a garbage soft material under the insole that starts to pill and feels like I am walking on pebbles. I've had to throw out 2 pairs way prematurely. So I am switching back to PF Flyers for canvas shoes, who is owned by New Balance owners daughter as a separate company. Again not perfect but so far so good. I am wearing more of my vintage sneakers like Reebok classics and New Balance 574.

I've had some great Nike runners and some garbage. Same for Adidas. Some of my Hokas didn't last at all. The newer models are a lot better. I've had the best luck with Reebok (adidas owned).

this hasn't been one off with Adidas UM gear. its happened multiple times hence why I bought a larger size. theyre inconsistent.

But you're mixing up "TV deals" and "CFP TV deals". And TV deals WILL NEVER be "all distributed evenly to the conferences". That's just insanity. No TV network is going to give the same money to the Big 12 that they give to the Big 10, and there's no way that the Big 10 and SEC will live with that either.

And, sorry, but D$ is wrong. Or at least the way you've summarized D$'s words is wrong.

I'm not calling you a liar. I haven't had problems but perhaps they do need to improve. In sure Nike screws up apparel also.

But yeah I'm waiting on the Nike propagandists to claim Nike dips it's fabric in dragons blood and coats it with adamantium and will survive a nuclear bomb.

You're making a comparison between shoes and shirts. Which, with all due respect, is not a good comparison. Shoes are highly engineered and precisely manufactured to fit a certain size, even if the quality is not the greatest.

Nobody said "the brand" makes the difference. But Quality Control DOES make the difference. And while I can respect your observations on shoes that worked for you and didn't work for you, it's really time that you give the same respect to other people and their observations.

I have purchased and worn Miami adidas gear for 11 years now. I have purchased and worn Miami Nike gear for longer. At work the other day, I wore a Miami DOLPHINS polo shirt and my co-workers expressed mock shock that I was not wearing a UM polo.

And today, I am wearing a UM adidas polo from at least 6 years ago, when adidas briefly made a good UM polo shirt. There are 4 that I have that I love, one that is all orange, one that is all green, and two that are striped, one is white and silver, the other is black and silver. Beyond that, I have a smaller (guest bedroom) closet stuffed with Miami shirts (Nike and adidas), and I get more wear from my MUCH older UM Nike gear. And when they are in the closet side by side, you wouldn't think the Nike shirts are 10 years older than the adidas shirts.

You might try to wave that off as "love of the brand", but I'll put on any shirt that has the UM logo. I'm much more focused on quality and fit, not the name on the inside of the collar.

adidas REGULARLY has problems with fit and quality. It's well-known. People routinely tell other people to buy adidas clothing one size larger. While Nike may make mistakes, they are not known for this in nearly the same way that adidas is.

If you went to the store and knew that one brand was likely to fit properly 90% of the time and another brand was likely to fit properly 40% of the time, which brand would you gravitate to?

I am NOT arguing against getting out. My heart hopes these jackasses at ESPN, SEC, and BIG get screwed over with new legislation ending their sweetheart deals that killed the conferences. I also hate how the 2 super-conferences are ending most OOC games. Keeping all the $ to themselves.

It's likely we end up in one of em. I am not staying up at night worried about it. Leadership will make the right decision, unlike years past.
