There's always hope for our Athletic Department to turn things around. We really need to get rid of Legends.

No idea why that was ever added to hats. Though I assume based on where my hats get dirty, that’s likely why. There is no way it was for looks. I don’t think I’ve ever seen a hat that the rope improved the lookThe rope looks like ****. How to **** up a good thing 101.
you just dont have the footlocker connect... Also i guess columbus must've been fleeced because theres no way glorious nike would lose a competitive bidding process ever. The company cant keep world cup jerseys in stock and is getting destroyed for their awful shoulders and **** quality but clearly its all just big adidas propaganda..My homey is literally an alumn and has some connections through the athletic side (he played years back) in Columbus. He spoke to someone in the school and said what I shared. Apparently, the school (never said the athletes) is very happy with their relations with Adidas, thus far. I gave an example as to why. Perhaps, my info is bad. Perhaps not. All I know is given how important the connection between Columbus HS, Miami and Inter Miami are, I am not at all surprised to hear Adidas is giving them a lot of love and to make certain folks at all 3 places very happy.
I had no idea Columbus made the switch so all this news was a surprise to me when i heard about it today.
Either way, what exactly am I lying about? That Columbus isn’t getting the gear they requested? What can I possibly get out of lying about that? Hate to burst your corny “gotcha” moment but you got to do better, gang. Not everything is about Nike.
B4 I hop on this call & b M.I.A for the day, could u expound on “Legends?” I’m unfamiliar w this.

Lmao. I got the timeline wrong. I’ll take the L on that. What exactly do I have to lie about? That Adidas isn’t treating Columbus right? Sure..
It’s all good, though. I’m looking forward to the next 20 years of his Nike propaganda and anti-Adidas campaign. I’m sure it’ll be every bit as effective as it’s been over the last decade.
Worst part is I’m a Nike guy but the cult got me defending Adidas cause I won’t stand for the misinformation being spread. At some point, you’d think reality would get in the way of the narrative, but apparently not.![]()
The deal was done through the county with Miami Dade public schools so yes it was a competitive bid process. Not sure about "fleeced". I don't think anyone said "fleeced". If adidas honors all terms of the deal with Columbus (as they did not do with Miami), then all is good.
Competitive bidding? Does anyone know if 11 Dade County high schools conducted competitive bidding all at the same time? Seems miraculous. Sounds more like adidas made a strong offer (fair, no problems with that) and that there was no competitive bid.
World Cup jerseys? Do you know if that is a Nike issue or a Fanatics issue? Because Fanatics handles most/all of the stadium venues involved in the World Cup.
Awful shoulders? Don't know what's up with that.
**** quality? Not sure about that one either, but...maybe? I can tell you directly (as a person who buys a lot of UM stuff and a lot of soccer stuff) that adidas has issues too. So maybe this one's a push.

As for the jersey comment, these are directly from nike. Though yes the fanatics thing is a whole different can of worms one could bring up when you talk about bad quality of fan gear.
Its both a quality and stock issue and my original comment addressed both. Again i'm not getting into a debate on apparel with anyone on the merits of the apparel itself. I was simply stating that things being spewed here and accepted as fact are incorrect.Your comment had nothing to do with "bad quality of fan gear". It was about keeping things in stock.
Again, Nike's website is different from Fanatics' inventory management system. I know from whence I speak, I know several people who work at Fanatics in Jacksonville.
"Directly from Nike" is a manufacturing issue. "Keeping things in stock" is an inventory issue. You seem to be mixing and matching.

You can laugh at Miami dade county having an open bid, but it doesn't change the fact. Again i don't care who wins this bid as long as miami gets best deal. But don't say i'm mixing and matching as a way to deflect when i was quite clear on what i was speaking to and even said fanatics was a completely different subject we could get into.
I was simply trying to correct misconceptions being spread on this board by bias parties who are reacting emotionally vs based on facts. I again have 0 interest in this topic as a whole and wont be commenting further on this circular argument.
Miami still Id guess lolOn that note, back to lurking and talking about things i actually care about like where we'll be playing football in 3 years.
Miami still Id guess lol
