MEGA New Miami Adidas Ultraboost🔥 - The Shoe and Nike/Adidas Thread.

What good ole reliable Rellyrell said June 12, 2026:

Here’s what’s interesting:
1. Adidas spent a ****, & I mean a **** ton of $$ to both PSU & UTenn.
2. UL, TAMU, & Miami all r expiring around the same time.
3. Allegedly, Adidas wants in on Utah now, whose contract ALSO expires at the same time as us & TAMU.

Now, y did I say “allegedly?” B/c while some in Utah’s AD was pushing for Nike, I know a guy who knows a guy that said there’s a booster that’s pushing for Adidas due to ties + hatred for BYU’s affiliation w Nike. I’m assuming, w/o talking to a guy who knows a guy, that’s the reason for a shorter term vs. the traditional 8-10 yrs…aka, see how it goes.

I’m also wondering y would Adidas make this deal when the orchestrator of Utah’s success is in Ann Arbor, & I fully expect Utah to take a precipitous step back. They r not the darlings of that area; that area is pillaged by UO, BYU, & UW. Utah was a steady program, getting more out of less due to 1st, Meyer, & then Whittingham. Prior to, they were a doormat. Nevertheless, here we r.

Am i the only one who thinks our current uniforms (maybe minus the blackout) are actually rly good? The stormtroopers looked nuts in the CFP. I know the mess of uniforms that came before it, but I’m surprised to see all the hate against adidas by including current pics in the posts.

I don’t care too much about what they wear. If they win championships they cld rags and i wouldn’t care. Obvious is nice to look good. All seems a bit unnecessary. Let’s be excited about the awesome team not get in a hissy fit about fine details of the jerseys

The fine details of the jerseys are not the problem.

The problem is is that we play in a climatic environment where rain can occur at any point in amounts that allow people to shower outside.

Adidas has not brought seven studs to any football game that we have participated in. Which is, to be quite frank, an absolute disgrace.

You want to see us win and dominate? How about we start wearing proper gear that allows us to have adequate footing. That would be a great start.

LOL nothing in miami is done on competitive bids. melreese orange bowl etc. all were no bids im pretty sure and same with the construction companies the county uses

In fairness, I have absolute respect for @Canesfan1993 and he definitely knows SoFla high school sports.

But I've also been watching Dade County "business as usual" politics since the 1980s, and full-blown competitive bidding is a rarity.

I'm still hopeful that adidas promises a lot and delivers a lot. But I was born in Missouri. "Show Me".

Nah; they fa sho care….they heavy criticize anything. Now, do they care about the bag more? 100%, but I’ve seen enough fights at stores over certain drops to know they care.
Back in our day, we only would wear nike.. I seen kids go in last 5-ish years from yeezy to vans to New Balance to Sambas to Golas to Asics to crocs, they are wayyyyyy wider palate to things that would get you laughed off the court or football fields.. These jits different but if you believe they nike/jordan til they die like we were back in day then it is what it is..

You posting this to make us mad?

Nike is so much cleaner. Even the sweatsuits/tracksuits blow adidas out of the water (maybe that’s personal bias tho as I’ve been rocking them for years).

Simply posting due to a lot of internet chatter of Nike’s fall off b/c of their low stock prices, which if u were around during the “cancel Nike movement” of ‘98 after the stock soared in ‘96 or the Yeezy over Jordan movement of 2016 where Nike’s stock steadily declined this is nothing new. The Opening coming back is a big deal.

Bro, we wore Karl Kani, Vans, Reeboks, KSwiss, Chucks, Lugz, Timbs. Saucony, Pumas in the 80’s - early 2000’s. Lol.

Never in my life have I ever seen kids just wear exclusively Nikes, b/c most couldn’t even afford them. ****, I’m literally living my childhood dreams as an adult. When I start making $$ hustling around 10th grade, then u saw me in the Air Max Up Tempos, Jordan 11’s, Diamond Turfs, etc. B4 that, I was in Reeboks, Chucks, Pony’s, Vans.

My biggest gripe with Adidas is their best gear is only provided to the athletes. Hoodies, tees, etc., I see so many awesome designs worn by players, and we fans are never able to purchase. Adidas invests a lot in equipping athletes and advertising, but their fan service is really lacking. If you ask Harry I suspect he’d tell you the same, retailers can’t get access to the most requested or highest quality items.

Sizing is also weird. An Adidas medium is bizarrely sized in comparison to what my tiny arms are used to
This is facts!!!
