Shattered Backboard cleats released last week.

OK...so while it is highly unlikely to happen...

I am registered for the raffle and all of the in-store drops for the Undefeated.

And then I'll probably try again on Saturday.

Would do all kinds of bad things to get that shoe.

And I already have the close approximation:

Seriously, how similar ARE these? I know that the Olive Craft doesn't have the orange interior that the Undefeated has. And the suede on the Undefeated is nice. Still...not bad...not bad...and approximately $40,000.00 less...

This shoe was created in response to the Nike Zoom Fly. From my understanding this shoe is a great shoe for intermediate, short runs, & daily wears. Holds up pretty well as it’s a light shoe. For the longer, more stable run w endurance it’s the Zoom Flys. Gives better support for the long distance runners, but are heavier.

I’ve heard good things about the SL from trusted ppl who only test running/athletic shoes. Adidas hit a home run w this, although design wise, I prefer the Pegasus Plus. Not a bad team shoe w Adidas.

I have tried a couple of the higher end Nike running models, but for me (far from an avid runner), the Adizeros (SL, Boston, Pro 4) have less heel-forefoot drop on average, saving my knees.

Good ****; yeah, that’s another thing my guy said. He said as he’s gotten older in running, while he still likes The Nike Vaporfly, the heel-forefoot ratio from Nike compared to Adidas is a bit, too, aggressive by comparison.

I don’t have that issue, but I can definitely understand. I think Hoka & Brooks is even better in this department.

Look at running stuff daily, I run a decent amount and Adidas SL has got some of the best reviews in the game right now.

Last year's Miami Adizero SL2 (orange with white stripes) is selling for $56.00 on adidas right now...

60% off...plenty of sizes available...

And some of these porsters are trying to tell us that the adidas merch sells as well as the Nike merch...

I know unequivocally it doesn’t. That’s not speculation, I mean that in the purest possible sense.

There’s so many popular shoe sizes available, too. Usually steep mark downs r based upon limited inventory & so they’re just trying to sell off the rest of the stock. Both Fanatics & Adidas direct website have plenty of inventory in stock.

Those shoes are ugly that’s why. They did a terrible Job.

U’re absolutely right, terrible color scheme, But it’s not just that model: The campus series, too. The Gazelles just sold out in my sizes (10-11) after being discounted.

Yea, they've done a terrible job with the shoe and color schemes for alot of Miami time with us. When we first got Adidas, I did a create your own shoe with them and Ive worn it since. The only other ones I liked were the white ultraboost, and the Zubaz gear they never released to the fans.

One pair of adidas I have on right now foam runners, that’s it.

**** the quality in this pic is crazy. The Nike material looks better quality, adidas look like they use the sock material from Lot Less

It’s not particularly close:
-I’ve felt & compared UWs old Nike jerseys vs. Adidas’ newest jersey template as one of my homies played for UW in the early 2000’s, & as an alum he gets gear.

-I’ve felt & compared Army’s 2005 Adidas jerseys vs. 2006 (when they made the switch to Nike) from my relative who’s a West Point alum & former player (will be promoted to Colonel in literally 2 days).

-I’ve felt & compared Miami’s fan jersey from 2014 vs. 2023.

-I’ve felt & compared the NFL jerseys from 2011 (when Reebok was a subsidiary of Adidas) v. 2012 after they struck a deal w Nike.

When I speak on aesthetics, material, functionality, etc. it’s not a biased observation. If Adidas was a superior brand, the #1 sports apparel brand w/ a reputation of producing winners, I would want us in that. They r not, & when it comes to American sports they r 2 decades behind. Their designs r from Nike’s old playbook; ****:

-Donovan Mitchell’s new shoe drew ā€œinspirationā€ from Gary Payton’s Glove shoe

IMG_2963.jpeg

-James Harden’s new silhouette that’s about to releases drew ā€œinspirationā€ from Nike Comme De GarƧon’s Air Foamposites.

If there r two brands that r constantly sued by Nike it’s Adidas & Skechers b/c both brands r constantly coming behind like sloppy seconds. With that said, to Adidas credit, they do have some great OG designs, & truthfully Kanye allowed them to think outside the box (which is y he’s been ranting against them stealing his designs w/o pay, while Adidas says anything he designed under contract is theirs to use at their discretion).

Regardless, the reviews of the new show the team/public will be getting are great, so at least while we’re under this albatross of a contract (which I will be highlighting as soon as I’m done working out), the fans can be satisfied w both this model & the Gazelles which I thought Adidas did a good job on.
