I'm not even going to address the rest of your post. This is simply not true.

I’m not sure how someone can continue to parrot the same nonsense & lies every single time, DESPITE empirical evidence &/or context provided that debunks these nonsensical post…EVERY TIME.

Literally the same rinse & repeat ****.

It's nutty. I guess he had one conversation with Harry from AllCanes once, when Harry couldn't move the Nike merch after the switch to adidas, and now he thinks he is an expert.

The reality is that if "Miami fans" were so "cheap" that we refused to buy merch, Harry would have shut down years ago. Ken wouldn't be EXPANDING CanesWear. The UM Bookstore would not have converted almost all of its 2 floors to merchandise. Miami wouldn't have premium brands like Peter Millar and Tommy Bahama and Reyn Spooner and Columbia and Champion making UM clothing. And Miami wouldn't be one of the better-selling brands on Fanatics.

But, yeah, IN SPITE OF ALL THAT, Miami fans are cheap and don't buy merch...allegedly...because Canedud keeps repeating it...

adidas merch has honestly been trash. i havent bought anything new adidas stuff for UM gear in years.

now i just grab 47 brand or home field shirts i need. i stopped buying shorts and just rewear my old nike ones since i just wear those around the house anyways.

I buy 90 % Exclusively at CanesWear. The Adidas UM gear has improved TREMENDOUSLY since 2021.

At first I kept wearing my old Nike stuff until I got accepted into our MBA program. I am legit satisfied with all of my new Adidas gear.

This don’t excuse the bull**** they were pedaling prior, but speaking the truth the modern apparel is good. I wanna stay with Adidas selfishly due to my investment however if TOC knows something… believe him.

It’s “mid” but like you said from what we got in 17-20 it’s light years better. I couldn’t bring myself to pony up I just wore all my old Nike gear till it finally was time to retire them

Fair. “Mid” is probably more accurate. I wear a common size and I believe I have a dope collection but it has been selectively picking good stuff each year and accumulating.

I wanted to show u the fundamental difference between Nike’s Hawaii vs. Adidas version of the same jersey.

1st let’s look at Adidas:

On the surface, nothing wrong; just a basic template. Unfortunately, this chasis is one step above their HS level jerseys. As u’ll see there’s no collar, arm sleeves are basic finished w/ a semi breathable material piping.

The Hawai’i graphic is more of a cartoonish font, but the number font is nice.

Now, comparatively with the new Nike unis:

1st thing that stands out is the material used is an upgrade, w/ a collar and placing Hawai’i’s logo in the middle. The other noticeable difference is the shade of green is back to Hawai’i original shade. Adidas’ shade was a more brighter forest green vs. the deeper hunter green (think UofM Adidas’ Sun Yellow vs. Nike’s Maize).

Another difference is Nike corrected both UA & Adidas’ blunder in making sure Hawai’i across the chest was reflective of the jersey number. The old Hawai’i was just in white lettering, while the new Hawai’i is in green outlined in white playing off the number design causing more of a pop on a black canvas.

Lastly, & this probably the most obvious, reinstalling one of the most important symbol in Hawaiian culture, the Kakāu pattern on to their shoulder pads, paying homage to the 808. To UA credit, they did have this on their original jersey (albeit crooked). Adidas had it down their pants leg, but this meant to be on the arm sleeve for cultural purposes.

What often separates Nike from Adidas is details, & material.

Another before & after from just a brand switch.

No new news, but I realized I gave a NCAA championship update to show the discrepancy between Nike & other brands as seen here

👇🏾

But, I neglected to post the win % of the 2024-25 CFB (FBS) season by brand:
Nike: 540-402 (.573)
Adidas: 282-294 (.490)
UA: 77-97 (.443)

If I were to separate P4 conferences from G6 conferences:
Nike (P4): 358-254 (.585)
Adidas (P4): 104-77 (.574)
UA (P4): 32-41 (.438)

Nike (G6): 182-148 (.552)
Adidas (G6): 178-217 (.450)
UA (G6): 45-56 (.446)

Perception is reality, & reality is…

I wanted to highlight this. It's hard to prove "intent", but I've seen a lot of t-shirt/jersey designs where adidas is definitely trying to get the 3-stripes as close to our logos/names/designs as possible, and as large as possible.

But this one was VERY egregious:

I still can’t believe we ever wore these JV level jerseys. **** adidas.
