Why did Pete Ariz say we probably staying with adidas today? Smh
B/c we have a very influential booster that’s in bed w them, & we’re still ran by imbeciles

I like colosseum stuff but Just ordered one of the lightweight orange hoodie from fanatics and the color came in wayyyyyyy over Heathered on the outside if that makes sense. The inside matches more of the expectation and picture on the website. Disappointed. Most of my newest Miami gear is from Colosseum. Way more selections.
This is not what I want to hear , please Mario do the right thingB/c we have a very influential booster that’s in bed w them, & we’re still ran by imbeciles
So all of the Jordan/nike talk for the last 3 years was pointless?
It was a prediction and I am an agreement with him.Why did Pete Ariz say we probably staying with adidas today? Smh
Which booster was that? No, it wasn’t pointless b/c even staff members were telling recruits when Mario first came on board what the plan was; however, one of our boosters became real chummy w Adidas in 2023.
Several ppl hit me up in my DM b/c they noticed I stopped talking about a possible reuniting, & I told them straight up I’m feeling uneasy about a possible switch b/c of smoke I heard about one of the boosters. Could it still happen w the right voices? Sure, but if I was 75/25 in 2022, I’m 25/75 as of today simply b/c who now has the loudest voice in the room.
Dan at this point is just a yes man.
I have no interest in debating about this topic but It has nothing to do with a booster and all to do with Nike. Once again, Adidas is investing a great deal into Miami and Nike isn’t. TIFWIW.
We won’t be in ACC.My heart wants me to believe we will be a Nike Big 10 school, but my mind tells me we will be stuck as an adidas ACC school.

Respectfully, you’re not as informed as you think you are. Your booster and “negotiation” theory’s are both false.Respectfully…
I’m the only accurate **** in this thread which is y I bump my own post well b4 news actually break (i.e: Nike was going to flip another SEC school while letting UTenn walk).
So while u may have some ears around the program, I have my ears in the entire apparel industry & I know why things move the way they do.
How can Nike “heavily” invest in Miami when:
1. We can’t negotiate w them yet
2. They are not our endorser
So yes, we don’t need the back & forth b/c what I know vs. u is literally night & day different.

The way adidas is moving in college athletics makes me wonder if Nike is still interested in that business. Similar to when they gave up on golf equipment.
