I'm sure that will change, but still very important to lock up Collins, Bostwick and Kirkland this weekend! If Thomas changes his mind, which Golden usually gets what he wants, then it will still be a monster weekend. Kinda wish we would have saved Coley's official for this weekend as well.

a weekend involving our top RB, DT and OL prospects and people are saying its not an exciting weekend? Haa! Collins is arguably are most important recruit, Bostwick is our best prospect in an area of huge need and Kirkland is one of the best OL prospects in the nation.....

It still does not have the luster it did a week ago. There is no denying that fact. It'd great that three guys are coming to get excited about. The other guys that are committed are not really what this weekend is about. It is about those kids we are still trying to sway or get back in the fold. That is why having Bryant, Liner, Williams and Thomas on campus could have been speical as our solid commits could have worked them over. Having seven uncommitted highly rated guys on campus is better than three.
 
Collins, 6, and two stud DTs. That's what this class was about after Olsen committed. Get it done.

Bostwick is pretty much a lock. Grades are the only concern.

Collins and Kirkland are the two we need to shore up.
 
why do we have so many Dbags on this site that feel the need to try these kids! Keep that garbage in the WEZ and dont ruin the other boards!

To the newbies who are upset about this weekend, u will learn this is typical in the last month of recruiting and happens every year.
A large percentage of guys who were longshots don't make their trips. Happens every year.
I know u guys think golden is capable of landing everyone, but, guys like liner and foster etc were never coming here.
 
Without fail, the herds of n00bs come on these boards in January and get their dander up for guys like Dee Liner...and then complain that Golden can't close if we don't land them. Like clockwork.
 
It really is just common sense... As you get closer to the end of the recruiting cycle the big boys begin to get locked down. No surprises really.
