New HC prospects

CMR is going nowhere , silver lining in this disastrous stretch is that B.James has no choice but to demand on offensive overhaul. Only Dugans should stay, new OC, OL, ST coaches needed ASAP.
also S&C again should be looked at as we never seem to really explode off eitheir side of ball
and also get Bullied by just about anyone decent...............

CMR isn't going anywhere. The guy needs to hire a bad *** OC who can recruit and will call all the shots.

Take a deep breath and consider the following. We have become a burial grounds for college coaches. Since Coker’s firing we have fired 2 more coaches and probably one more to follow in the near future. All this has occurred in only a 15 year period. None of the fired coaches lasted more than 5 years with us. Based on the instability of coaching here, many qualified coaches will be reluctant to enter our hornets nest based on what has happened to the last 4 coaches. During the disastrous 15 year period our brand with high school coaches and their players has lost its luster. Today’s generation cares little of our past glory. They only are aware of what teams are the leading programs today. We ain’t one of them. Coaching prospects know that it will be a steep uphill climb to try and rebuild our program. Many will not be willing to attempt the. rebuild. At best we will have to hope the next hire is a miracle worker and is able to get us back on track to sustained success. The administration and powers that be have some major soul searching to do. If they continue to run the program like the past 15 years plus, things will only get worse.

This program is the polar opposite of a rebuild.

Off the field our facilities, cash flow and academics are more than good enough to satisfy any recruit and parent.

On the field, this team isn’t in the same league as Bama and Clemson right now but it should be far better than its performing on the field.

You can justify the losses to LSU and even BC. The other three are inexcusable, especially when they’re due to a never ending nightmare of on field miscues, turnovers and repetitive, unimaginative play calls.

In no particular order:
Leech
Kiffin
Frost
Babers
Butch (with Manny or KD as HC in waiting)

Need to see more of Huepal. First move he made was bring in Radio and his defense is going to be his downfall this year. I want someone from the Leach tree, just want to see a little bit more from him, especially without Milton.

I think Manny should get a shot at being our HC. Miami is honestly a quality OC away from being top 10 year in year out. If not him I expect Cristobal will be our next HC.

It needs to be someone who can recruit elite talent and has an excellent offensive scheme
We also need to be careful not to overreact and swing the pendulum too far the other direction.

Not disagreeing with you but just because Richts embarrassing failures are so fresh doesn’t mean we should just jump on someone that’s a great offensive mind. It’s important, yes, but those types of overreactions can lead to endless tail-chasing.
