Just to nip this one in the bud, in case you are serious. A lot of companies (and the government) have pay grade levels or bands that authorize a salary within a given range for that band. No idea what UM's level 30 range is, but it has nothing to do with an hourly rate.

How is it relevant to post that info without any context of what that means for actual salary?

What does “Pay Grade 30” pay?

If its anything like my company there are levels or grades to each position which determine the salary range. We use workday also so it could a workday thing. I think for us it goes up to grade 27.

Mix of legal precaution to avoid potential lawsuits over salary and also sets a maximum salary when negotiating.
