Just saw they gave up 39 to Northwestern...ouch.

The last 3 years Narduzzi was there they gave up roughly 17 pts per game.

The last 3 years with this guy as Co-DC they gave up 23.2 pts per game
 
Insert fart noise. This guy might be good but was a Co-Coordinator making less than $500k and on nobody's hot list. This would be an obvious place to look since you could offer a step up to sole coordinator.

No way you can consider this a slam dunk... It’s Dantonio’s defense. Sure he might turn out to be good but Michigan State is a reflection of their HC not their coordinators

That comparison makes very little to no sense. If you are indeed a simpleton (educated assumption), I apologize in advance for calling you a ******* idiot. You are comparing two different coaches in two different situations and trying to draw parallels. Just because Pruitt worked out for that trailer park school doesn't mean Harlon will be a good hire also. Furthermore, even if the board reaction was the same for both hires (I have no idea if it was), it still doesn't have any effect on whether Harlon will do well at that piece of **** school.
 
They also hired a S&C coach (Irele Oderinde) from Oregon today who was suspended a month without pay last year after three players ended up in the hospital. There are also major questions about his obtaining an S&C coaching certification via US Track & Field, which basically is a 21-hour program (for $245) that grants certification across all NCAA sports.
 
man Dantonio is one of the few coaches i would ship mark richt for and Im a mark richt fan.
