I’m leaning toward Lane, with Mario a close second. Because Lane would have X’s and O’s figured out on BOTH sides of the ball right off the bat. Maybe the most elite X’s and O’s guy in all of college football.

Other thing is, Kiffin would be able to assemble a better STAFF than Mario. Partly because of his dad, and partly because he’s coached so many places. He has a wider net and more cache in coaching circles outside South Florida

Mario would still be excellent though. Either guy could win here and be a huge step up from Manny IMO

Well hopefully a Grad Assistant can carry Monte's re-animated head alá Twiggy and Dr Theopolis on the sideline calling the defense.

At least we know Kiffin wants to come here. Cristobal could be deciding for weeks. Worst case scenario at this point is we spend the next few weeks waiting on Mario, Lane gets tired of waiting and goes to LSU/UF, and then Mario decides to stay in Oregon. We end up with neither. I would give Mario until Wed to decide. If no answer, we go with Lane.

Idk, offense hasn't been great this year. Under 30 points a game. Rushing yards per game is close to ours at 139 a game. Passing TDs is low. Passing Yards per game is about where ours is. Yards per att and completion amongst the lowest.

I haven't paid SC much attention this year so maybe we can chalk those numbers up to a bad year.

Yeah, I was just trying to throw a name out if Lenny isn’t available and Lashlee is at SMU
