Lol @ any of you acting like you know **** about S&C. Cochran was just an assistant in the NBA and he's a beast. These guys come from all over. If they are up with the current trends and ever learning with high energy it can be a good hire.

Swasey wasn't even certified and Felder thought it was 1985.

I spent some time reading up on coach Feeley. He's got a deep resume, when it comes to football specific S&C - 14 years (and he's still young). Watched some videos and a couple things I really like: He programs recruits prior to stepping in the campus weight room. At ball state he programmed 12 weeks prior to their arrival. He understands adjustments between pre-season and in season volume, while maintaining intensity. Great accountability standards. The one I saw was the 110 sprint : timed sets adjusted for skill guys to the bigs. If anyone misses their times their name goes on a list, for NFL scouts to see and says these are the guys that missed one or more sprints. A second list says these are the guys that didn't miss - so built in accountability and competition. Talks with a solid, no bs attitude.

His demeanor is relatable for these kids - which is huge. I like Hester, but a POSSIBLE negative is that he is more invested in his own performance and hearing himself than in his players. Not saying that's the case but you dont need to be a drill sergeant to get results. If he's the guy - I believe he can do well and get this kids ready to roll.

One guy that interviewed him at Temple? Was blown away by his ability to get thickness on kids quickly.

One concern is that there's not really any academic or certification background noted. Does this mean anything - not really, but it's good to see. I've seen people with college degrees in the various exercises sciences that couldn't coach their own grnsdma, let alone an college athlete. I've seen people with base certs - that got after their continuing ed that where incredible coaches, and could be on a C&S staff. I would like to know his path.
