That's why we get so little of the funds allocated & why we keep being a perpetually losing team.

Until the Mangina Flake James & the Funeral home director Julio Frenk are gone, we're not going to be anything more than a bottom barrel ACC team.

It doesn't matter if Diaz gets fired next year because Flake will be hiring the next the coach & he's going to get it wrong because he's a human fúck stick & doesn't deserve the job he has.

From what I understand, aboubt 1/3 doesn't care about the football program. 1/3 is your PR/PC/image types and the last third are people who care but are often either too busy or in the minority to make an impact.

There were some good parts, RVA. But it’s very disheartening to hear that the AD is a push over who won’t demand changes, that the president doesn’t care about athletics, and that only half of the BOT is disappointed by what happened this season. Barry was able to find a couple of people who voiced their displeasure, but the sad reality is it’s going to take a lot more than that to save this program.

I know it sucks and it isn’t ideal but it was somewhat encouraging on the flip side. If Manny makes no changes, he’ll get the same results and should be gone and Blake could be gone too. Someone mentioned waiting for any potential changes until after the bowl game. That should be soon so I guess we’ll see shortly how Manny will proceed.

Funny how much emphasis is placed on the BOT and the Admin and not on coaches, and especially not on players. You have far lesser programs with far less funding, history, and overall support who have been far more successful the last couple decades. Our team plays in a **** division of a a mediocre conference with no success but yet it’s everyone’s fault except for the 4 and 5 star guys who get full rides to a top 50 private school. Keep itching guys about the resources and those with a brain will keep seeing uber physically talented athletes who consistently underperform...because of the BOT and Admin of course.

With all respect, and I haven’t read any posts in here yet, but I disagree that we’re fûcked. I think this is positive. You have a BOT Member saying Manny won’t survive another year like this, that Blake needs to force changes (which he won’t) and that Blake got suckered into cancelling a national search to scoop up Manny when Manny would’ve jumped from Temple after the search. And they also think the bling and dancing when we are 6-6 is stupid.

How is this a bad thing? There was no way they were canning him after 1 year, even if we know he sucks and they know he sucks.

Beat me to it, at the worst one more year if he doesn't clean this mess up. I'd like to see him fire Enos and get some young gun slinger in there, get rid of the D coach while he's at it.

I took this as an overall positive. I mean, we know the admin is chit so that shouldn't be news. But what this tells us is there are dissenters amongst the trustees who know the chit state we're in, and how bad blake and co are. The comment about not being on the right track for 15 years was the best.

What's needed is to fan those internal tensions and flames, by calling out the BOT as a whole group and demanding immediately deliverable action. Any heat reflects poorly on Bass, Epstein, Frenk, and James. Other trustees in opposition will leverage outside embarrassments like a BILLBOARD to gather support and push for changes internally.

For instance Schiano’s contract called for 76% of the remainder. Manny has nowhere near the resume of Schiano, hence the lesser payout %
