Be named Tom Jurich
That’s not reflective of context starting with your post in that thread - and you oughta drop it just like the other guy should’ve dropped it.Don't worry LCE, Lemonis is just some hack. Doesn't represent any faction whatsoever on BoT. Randomly types away his thoughts without any purpose whatsoever.
#NowBackToReality
I suspect his E before W faction is at least quietly gloating over the Pitt results and expect more of the same going forward.....
Hey, quick clarification on the second question. Is that under the assumption that I'm not playing a game on my cell phone? My first question to a prospective AD is "Would you take a contract heavily loaded on the backend with massive incentives based upon winning the ACC in football within 5 years and making a Sweet 16 in hoops in that same timeframe?"
My second question would be "Do you urinate standing up?"
Just saw this...That’s not reflective of context starting with your post in that thread - and you oughta drop it just like the other guy should’ve dropped it.
You jumped to a broad conclusion and the other guy involved was an unnecessary jerk about it all over the place because of a continuing CIS beef. This is just more fuel to the fire which ends up with the Maude’s having to deal with it yet again.
Considering how few have won anything in the last 20 years, this is a small sample size. Let's see, mostly Southern schools have won titles, and guess what? Those schools aren't hiring women or non athletes to be AD. Look at a school like USC. Mike Garrett played ball but was a joke of an AD. He lucked out in Carroll, but he didn't do anything. Mal Moore was mediocre as **** as an AD, Alabama just said to **** with it and backed up a Brinks truck to Nick Sabans house. That isn't some brilliant idea.Over the last 20 years, football championship winning ADs… 85% were collegiate athletes and 75% were at least collegiate football players.
If there’s one trait you want in your AD, it’s that he played collegiate football. Just sayin
Pun intendedThere has to be plenty of #2s … ****show
An Associate AD at a big program probably has credibility and respect. We need someone who a coach like the ones we aspire to hire would have the confidence to work for.I would like an Associate AD with ambition from a big-time program. Someone who knows what it looks like but is a realistic option and ascendant.
I'd also look at high achieving midmajor ADs, that have an eye for talent. This is why passing on Danny White ****es me off so much. He was right down the street....An Associate AD at a big program probably has credibility and respect. The other guy was unnecessarily impolite and dead horse kicking in the situation and I addressed that with him and you in private and with him on the board. It seems to have settled with him taking some time off from posting. Not personal, just none of us Maude’s wants to deal with another bout of it.Just saw this...
You are correct in calling me on it and I should have made my point more politely.
I'll do better.
Tom would work, but I would also want him to understand that bringing Pitino isn't happening. I want a young, dynamic basketball coachBe named Tom Jurich
Yea, there are several excellent young coaches out there that would do very well at Miami imo.Tom would work, but I would also want him to understand that bringing Pitino isn't happening. I want a young, dynamic basketball coach

A competent administrator is competent in… administrating. Not necessarily football. When it comes time to evaluate a coach, or a football program, there needs to be more than just competent administration. There has to be an understanding of the game and it’s nuances.Considering how few have won anything in the last 20 years, this is a small sample size. Let's see, mostly Southern schools have won titles, and guess what? Those schools aren't hiring women or non athletes to be AD. Look at a school like USC. One can easily note that correlation does not equal causation especially with such a small sample size. Hire someone that knows what they are doing, who gives a **** about whether they played. A competent professional understands that football drives the revenue bus and will do everything possible to support their revenue center. Not complicated.
Prepare yourself for Gino and Zo.I would like an Associate AD with ambition from a big-time program. Someone who knows what it looks like but is a realistic option and ascendant.
