2028 Neimann Lawrence 5* QB from Northwestern (was Ransom Everglades)

from a public to private always took place though. Thats something you cant really stop....thats why privates always had the advantages.

what they do need to stop is allowing multiple transfers from publics thats what is killing...if they go back to the old way of having to sit out or allowing one transfer you would see more parity witin the schools.

Theres a whole bunch of 2nd string kids at mnw-miami central that could be starting at other schools currently.

High school ball is in a sad state down here in Broward. You have the few elites private schools, a few mids, your miramars, plantations, now McArthur maybe west Broward, and a lot of trash.

I miss the days of parity and kids putting on for their neighborhood schools

So @gogeta4 and @Coach Macho are we still pretending like these kids and their parents are taking classes seriously? Because the last time I was in school (it’s been a while), there was no way I could have switched schools weeks into a semester and still been in good shape to get the kind of grades I expected.

Or are these kids and their parents getting mediocre grades? Because that is where this leads. Whether it is from a public school to a private, or whatever it maybe, switching schools during a semester seems completely in opposition to being a good student.

They are certainly not taking AP or Honors classes at a minimum.
I think it's important to note society as a whole more than likely isn't now what it was when you were going to high school. It's one thing to have your grades provided for you because you're an athlete hired here You're held to a different standard whatever. Your gifted and education. It's another to realize this generation there is no education. Essentially you're getting grades for a participation far more than anything going on in the school itself. There's a reason we as a society are getting dumber and dumber this is a large part of it. But that's a whole other can of worms so I'mma shut up

youre not wrong. combine that with social media

School, schmool.

A lot of these kids who bounce around don’t actually walk the halls, they do some Mickey Mouse online schooling and just go for football. Not saying Strawder does that, I don’t know, but that’s the game.
this.

I miss the days where chad Thomas played for booker t and went to new world school for classes.

online schooling is absolutely the worst thing we could have for kids who are still developing.

These kids arent even attending schools where they play at.
Alot of them are attending these "charter schools" or " online programs" and just practicing at the school afterwards.
After covid grades wasnt a concern anymore apparently. Because i think you didnt even need sat to get into college or something like that. ( it probably corrected now)

*But yea alot of them arent in the building. Which is why a kid could live down south miami and play at a Miami Central etc....because they essentially are just practicing there.

Whats crazy is if Dia doesnt get hurt im not sure if this kid transfers there. He actually should have transferred soon as Neiman transferred in because the writing should of been on the wall even though kid beat out qbs the year before and won states for MNW.
But im hoping it works out for the kid and he does well at AH and gets recruited which makes it works out both ways. From what is een this particular kid is a good student with good grades.

But i would advise our coaches if they see a kid they are recruiting in one of the charter type schools or whatever they call em that the chances of a reclass will be high with those kids.

I know of a 9th grader right now. his dad plans on having him in that type of school he dosnt plan on him being in a building. So he does his work early and i think does weight training, pilates, outdoor most days before practice in the afternoon. (basically college like)

Kid is likely gonna blow up so remember to come back to this post. lol

Well its no longer a 2 qb system.

Neiman Lawrence is qb1 at MNW....

Strawder just transferred out of MNW to American Heritage where he will start in place of DIA BELL who is done for szn.... lets see how that offense runs without a 5 star qb.
bell is out for the year again?

The saddest part about your accurate commentary is that the parents don’t seem to care either.
In all candor, if I was a high level athlete like some of these kids, and was wanted by these high school coaches and had a chance to transfer, and play, I probably would have jumped at it as well. Because I was “young, dumb and full of ___”. But my parents would NEVER have let it happen.

Now one can argue that my parents saw early on that their 5’9” Indian son was not destined for sports greatness (100% true). But I also think they held a strong belief in the value of education.

As to your last point, feel free to keep talking. Because when adults promote kids to transfer schools during a semester just for sports, we are getting dumber and dumber as a society. And that is very bad news in the long run.

My ignorance is on obvious display. I had no idea things had reached this point in high school.

Isn’t Heritage considered a high achieving academic school as well?

its still better than dade in Broward.

Like you stated the schools named....but you would still have Coconut Creek sending kids div 1 and competitive, all of a sudden West Broward recruited kids so they are competitive, Dillard is good again, Flanagan is on the up this year an last, and even private Archbishop Mccarthy is no longer an easy out...**** them mfers just got an indoor practice facility, theyve been a playoff team. Cardinal Gibbons is a good private program.

Dade is....MNW, CENTRAL, NORLAND, AND PICK ONE SCHOOL DOWN SOUTH. (HOMESTEAD/SOUTHRIDGE)

EVEN ME SO HORNY LUKE HAD TO USE NIL TO ATTRACT KIDS TO EDISON AND THEY ARE CURRENTLY GETTING BEAT TO SLEEP WEEKLY. LOL JUST LOST TO A SH*TTY Killian Team. Maybe ppl are hurt. Cause i like the qb and two wrs they have at edison in the one we have committed.

did bell is out for the year again?
yea he is donezo.

Im going to track it the next 3 -4 years and see who was the best qb stat wise to come out of s.fla.

I want dia to do well to keep the south florida qb thing going as i believe sometime they are nderrated even though i think he is the opposite a bit

asian parents are generally more academic oriented. part of it imo is the immigrant culture. you come here with nothing and they know the one thing that cant hold you back is an education.

naw i dont think arch leaves and they got a rs fresh n a current true fresh there learning who likely shirts as well..they may portal shop a qb as well if arch leaves

They have to care about grades because it closes doors for them if they don’t (limits the pool of schools who’ll offer them)

didnt his grandfather say out loud that he shouldnt be thinking bout the draft. hes nowhere near good enough (i dont think **** be his uncles or close to them though he is more athletic).

Someone explain this to me like I'm 5. Lawrence leaves Ransom Everglades, and last night, Ransom beats Booker T. Washington 35-0. What happened to BTW? 10 years ago they would have beaten a team like Ransom 100-0.
