2028 Neimann Lawrence 5* QB from Northwestern (was Ransom Everglades)

Surprised he transferred to Miami-Northewestern. Thought he was a stone cold lock to end up at Ft. Lauderdale-Dillard's

Are you saying this because you don’t think Lawrence is a surefire top-notch QB? With the transfer portal and QB is constantly switching teams I would think the days of bringing in multiple quarterbacks in one class are over.

I know you are one of the most knowledgeable posters on this site with regards to the high school football scene down here where do you rank Lawrence amongst some of the top South Florida QB’s over the last 10 years?

his ranking is unfinished.

He played small school ball....

and just now transferred to MNW and splits time with another qb.

His upside though is pretty high because he has a nice live arm, solid size, and has been playign the position at a high elvel for some time.

With him going to MNW with Teddy there at the time i expected his development to be very high i dont know who they have now doing so....

but we got atleast two mroe years to review his game.

The vero beach Wonderful Mounds is a kid i would monitor to which is why i said 2 qbs....also i expect transfer out of our qb room...so to refill.

Well its no longer a 2 qb system.

Neiman Lawrence is qb1 at MNW....

Strawder just transferred out of MNW to American Heritage where he will start in place of DIA BELL who is done for szn.... lets see how that offense runs without a 5 star qb.

HE WASNT FROM S.FLA TO BEGIN WITH HE WAS FROM TAMPA.

He was starting qb for Tampa Bay Tech last year.

I guess he was trying to ride the wave to a ring or higher recruiting or something.

from a public to private always took place though. Thats something you cant really stop....thats why privates always had the advantages.

what they do need to stop is allowing multiple transfers from publics thats what is killing...if they go back to the old way of having to sit out or allowing one transfer you would see more parity witin the schools.

Theres a whole bunch of 2nd string kids at mnw-miami central that could be starting at other schools currently.

Has alot of potential i hope teddy b continues to mentor...All Kid needs is coaching up and continued true qb development.

Hoping if/when cam ward is down in off szn hes a kid that goes to throw with them guys.
 
So @gogeta4 and @Coach Macho are we still pretending like these kids and their parents are taking classes seriously? Because the last time I was in school (it’s been a while), there was no way I could have switched schools weeks into a semester and still been in good shape to get the kind of grades I expected.

Or are these kids and their parents getting mediocre grades? Because that is where this leads. Whether it is from a public school to a private, or whatever it maybe, switching schools during a semester seems completely in opposition to being a good student.

They are certainly not taking AP or Honors classes at a minimum.

School, schmool.

A lot of these kids who bounce around don’t actually walk the halls, they do some Mickey Mouse online schooling and just go for football. Not saying Strawder does that, I don’t know, but that’s the game.
