I’m not saying you in particular, but a majority of posters here put Don on some pedestal that he definitely doesn’t belong on…is he a good back with fantastic upside? Sure, won’t argue that; but he’s not clear RB1, especially with how brittle he’s been. Given Parrish’s experience in the best conference in College Football + crispness in regards to route-running in the passing game, I think he has the edge.
This is how I feel about all our RB's. I get the "things are about to change" excitement and potential of our RB's.
But on the field - Parrish has been the most productive RB out of Parrish/Chaney/Knighton trio - but none has done anything special (yet).
None of the 3's production is really close to Homer & Dallas, and probably close but not as good as Cam.
So if no RB has been as good as Homer/Dallas/Cam who were in the same backfield in 2018 - I don't think we can throw out early 2000 comparisons.
