Kind of like the Boston Tea Party lol..
Peaceful protesting is fine.
Civil disturbance and rioting is not.
Black children in this country are prohibited from going to school, studying, working hard, getting a good job and enjoying life?
News to me!
Thanks for sharing.
Never understood the anger towards this protest! That's their American right to protest. In fact, if we took the right to protest, folks would be ready to start another Civil War, but yet, people are getting death threats because they choose this stance. Amazing! Now, there's some sins this country does have to bear when it comes to race, and it's even more evident now, but at the end of the day, everybody still has a shot to be what the **** they want to be in America. There's some steeper ladders than others, but you still have a shot. Like India, there's reason why they're number 1!
Now, I do think economics and Financial status is more of problem than Racism. You can say they go hand and hand with race, and in some ways it does, but there's poor people across the board in this country. The Wealth gap is crazy stupid.
Agreed with most of this.
The thing about the inner cities their kids grow up with no hope. You take away a mans hope and this is what happens. I def don't have the answers on how to fix this problem but in my opinion that's a key contributing factor.
I grew up in the inner city and been working with inner city kids for quite some time. Poor white people, poor black, poor Spanish people have way more in common than their rich counterparts, but the powers to be has brainwashed people to think this group is better than this group, and etc. LOL, yall still broke as **** and struggling the same way. Hope is free, to feel hopeless takes group effort, reinforced by the people who surround yourself with.\
I've seen it all! Folks can disagree with the protest, that's their right, but to restrict it, or punish someone for protesting is probably the most Un-American thing possible. The right to dissent is the backbone of this country.
