I like Neal Brown. Don't think it would be bad to have someone with small school success.

Same goes for Leipold at Buffalo or someone like Bohannon at Kennesaw St.
 
Again, with the names being thrown around, you guys seem to be looking for a fortunate lightning strike. Aim much higher or forget about winning big.

You can’t win the race if you are on a treadmill.
 
Idk why people want Kiffin, he's a splash hire gets a good recruiting class but never performs. Couldn't do it at USC won't do it here

Laughing my *** off at the “fit” argument. Urban Meyer friggin’ coached at Bowling Green and in the middle of Mormon country and murdered recruiting at UF.

You don’t turn your nose up at a fantastic Xs and Os guys because you’re not sure he can recruit Dade. Recruiting follows wins, and I take a great Gameday coach over Ron Zook every day of the week.
 
Also, if you’re going to harp on fit, don’t tell me you want Leach. He’s about as bad a “fit” as you can get here.

Wow. Narrow-minded approach. Who do you think is a proven commodity at a realistic price? The next JJ, Saban, Meyer, or Swinney is out there but you have to take off blinders to see.

Neal Brown, Dino Babers, Mike Leach is on the list within the list for me.

Matt Campbell is right behind them.

Please God no to Benedict Cristobal, Stoops, El Jefe, Rex, or Strong.


Not sure how I feel about Butch. I love it for nostalgic reasons and the man has stones. True Miami guy who would fall on the sword for his players. Excellent talent evaluator. Maybe if Brown, Dino, Pirate, and Campbell all turn us down. Not sure he can still recruit or if he's even the long term solution

We are stuck in the same ****** cycle yet our fans refuse to think outside the box.
 
Neal Brown is my guy. I've seen what he can do. He went into death valley and won. We got obliterated on a neutral field. He's working with scraps and has posted 3 straight 10 win seasons. If we can't get Urban, get Neal Brown. Then Dino Babers. Urban is a guarantee for what you buy. Neal is a bargain but could be had for cheap and could be kept for about what richt made.
