Neal Brown to WVU

Temple won’t either imo, doesn’t fit what they are looking for

That maybe true, but Temple is closer to the type of job that Fedora would get, rather than WVU. Not saying that Temple would want him. I honestly think Fedora is closer to a New Mexico State type head coaching candidate at this point of his career.

Honestly don’t think Fedora wants to coach due to his buyout. He just has to show that he is “trying” to find a job and then his buyout paid by UNC is reduced by whatever he makes. He doesn’t want to essentially work for free.

We got used

Or maybe Manny did him a favor by letting some underling float Fedora to some “reporter” and/or engage in some surface negotiation

I can’t believe that WVU would ever even consider Fedora as a HC. They might not be a top tier P5, but they weren’t touching Fedora with a ten foot pole

i don't see how he can get another p5 job as a head coach unless he goes p5 coordinator for at least 2-3 years, maaaaaybe hc of a desperate g5 school. the comments about cte, despite being old news to most, is not old news to liability-conscious administrators looking for a guy to lead a program, and he won't get the benefit of the doubt because unc's on-field performance was also **** over the last few seasons. he needs to rehab his image really badly.

I don’t disagree, that’s why I picked some random lower level school like NM State as an example.

As far as his CTE comments, I don’t think that has any meaningful impact. I think his poor head coaching record is 99.9% of the problem.

He is still probably considered a good offensive coordinator type coach, but hasn’t shown too much as a head coach. Put it this way, if he was a hotter head-coaching commodity, the CTE business would be totally overlooked.

Or perhaps the Troy State opening may be an opportunity for Fedora...maybe even Applewhite or Jeff Scott?
