They'd put them in the Coastal, then move us to the Atlantic.Bring these **** suckers to the ACC as a full member and placed them in the coastal. Want to drag these ***** every year.
The min i saw Norte Dane was joining the ACC for the year and didn't have Miami on there schedule i knew something was up and miami was gonna get f@cked in the end.
Another dillusional dip ****. There is no path the ACC title game even if ND played their cancelled game and lost. Get it thru your delusional brain. All of it is the commisioner's decision to have ND and Clemson having an open date before the title game. You too busy sucking Clemson's **** not asking why they didn't have their cancelled game rescheduled several weeks ago.
I hate ND like any Canes fan. I don't need delusional stupidity to do it. I certainly hate Ckemson as well. ****'em both.
The SEC absolutely doesn't mesh with Miami.
Wow.Four main things to look at for joining a conference:
1) Revenue
2) Competitiveness for Conference Champ
3) Recruiting attractiveness
4) Geography

A Few Thoughts on the SEC-Big 12 Revenue Gap and What it Means for OSU’s Future
It's not as big as you might think ... yet.pistolsfiringblog.com
1. The Big 10 is the most profitable, but the Big 12 and SEC are much closer than most people realize. Article points out that the Big 12 numbers leave out Texas, which has a whopping deal of its own and adds a bunch that isn't shown. Big 12 crushes the ACC and Pac 12 in revenue. If you included Texas and Oklahoma third tier rights, then I would guess that the Big 12 is as profitable if not moreso than the SEC.
2. Clemson owns the ACC. The big bag schools own the SEC. Miami's defense right now would be, by far, the best in the Big 12. Texas is a big bag school as well but historically they haven't done much despite having more money than God. Miami will be able to overtake Oklahoma faster than it will be able to pull even with Clemson.
3. Even if Miami joined the SEC, local recruits would still want to go to other SEC schools. Miami has done well recruiting in the state of Texas, and it has the recruits needed- kids from big cities who have played high level HS football. It would be almost unfair for Miami to have the ability to recruit locally and in the state of Texas.
4. It's 2.5 hrs from Miami to Texas across the Gulf of Mexico. Flying north to Boston College takes longer. Thanks to the invention of the aeroplane, Big 12 country is well within reasonable travel time.
By most measures, the Big 12 would be the best conference to join if we had our option right now.
What is the conspiracy theory, you idiot?
Notre Dame did not want to play one more game than Clemson had to play.
This isn't rocket science. It's just selfish self-preservation on Notre Dame's part. Not a "delusion" or a "conspiracy theory", just a pvssy move by Notre Dame.
b12 doesnt revenue share right? also, b12 is the worst conference in revenue amongst p5. acc is fourth. pac 3 sec 2 b10 1Four main things to look at for joining a conference:

All you're doing is showing your ***. You said absolutely nothing of substance because you were wrong and can't face the facts. What idiot would play a meaningless game when his ACC title opponent isn't. Your argument should have been that both ND and Clemson should play a full schedule just like Miami is. There was no reason for Clemson not to play just as well as ND. There, I helped you. Now STFU!!!More "gaping ******" arguments from Number1DameFan.
"Who's going to play a meaningless game the week before the ACC championship"? The entire season was set up that way. The week before the ACC-CG was always set up as a "snow day" makeup weekend if any games were pushed back.
"Waaaah, waaaaah, I want the ability to unilaterally call off any games that don't impact my eligibility for the conference championship game."
What a pvssy argument.

Totally off basis. Ignoring that fact that ND would be playing a meaningless game while Clemson rests for the title game. Clemson's game with FSU should have been rescheduled for 12/12 weeks ago and wasn't. You're just making excuses for the conference darling. The fact that they didn't have to is a pointless argument because it's on the conference commissioner to make that decision just like he did rescheduling Miami's games. We didn't get the opportunity to say who we wanted to play and when to play, yet you give Clemson a pass as "They didn't have to schedule a game", but you insist ND should play a game that has no barring on the outcome of the regular season. Hypocrisy!!!You are a buffoon.
Nobody gave Clemson "a pass". I accurately and correctly pointed out that NOBODY in the ACC was obligated to play 11 games. Covid cancellations were a known and accepted risk from the beginning of the season.
The concept of "I want to play fewer games, waaaah, waaaaah" is a uniquely Notre Dame concept.
But thanks for incompetently flailing, as usual, Number1DameFan.
Whatever you think of ND is irrelevant. They beat Clemson and we didn't. Sucks as it does, but they earned the right to be in the ACC title game. If they had lost to Clemson, then you'd have an argument to make. You clearly don’t understand what it takes to be great. You don’t run from competition, you embrace it. The more we play Clemson the closer we will be to beating them. ND is overrated, as usual. Miami can definitely beat them.
It's not the worst. I linked the stats. It's officially only behind Big 10 and SEC, but numbers don't include the third tier rights which make it more
profitable than reported.
And in terms of revenue distro:
Big 12 outpaces other conferences in revenue distribution

Big 12 revenue only dips slightly due to pandemic but belt-tightening on the horizon
In spite of all the canceled college sporting events this past spring, including the men’s and woman’s NCAA basketball tournaments, it seems as those the rich will remain rich, at least for the time being. The Associated Press reported Friday that The Big 12 conference’s first- and second-tier...awfulannouncing.com
"Each Big 12 school received $38.8 million in 2019 while they each received $36.5 million in 2018.
Overall, the league saw the biggest dip from the lack of major events such as the basketball tournament as well as the College World Series. Also, the money set aside for conference championship participation subsidies was halved from around $36 million to $18 million following the cancellation of the league’s spring championship events and tournaments.
It’s worth noting that these numbers don’t include third-tier broadcasting rights, such as revenue that Texas generates from ESPN for the Longhorn Network or what some of the other member schools may receive from Fox Sports or ESPN+ beyond the initial rights."
And Pac-12 is notoriously garbage for revenue. Lots has been written about the disastrous decisions made by the commissioner. The Pac 12 network or whatever it was supposed to be, was a giant money pit. Where are you getting your numbers?
Miami has enough talent to beat ND. It absolutely can happen, not saying it will but it can happen. Much much crazier things have happened.
They probably aren't #2 but we can't beat them, you're lying to yourself if you believe that. I'm not saying anything about running from competition, I'm just saying we would get beat handily by both of those teams
they earned the right to be in the ACC title game.
C'mon man. They played their schedule. The ACC let them in. Ain't ND's fault. The ACC commissioner let ND **** on the rest of the conference. They still earned the right to be in the title game. Should have not let them in this season or ACC teams should have beat them.Except they didnt since they aren't actually members of the ACC.

Why a Notre Dame-ACC union could happen only in a season of the unexpected
It has taken decades for it to happen, but Notre Dame football is part of a conference. And even if it's for only one season, even if that season never gets played, the Irish's partnership with the ACC will benefit both sides.www.espn.com
When Notre Dame affiliated with the ACC in 2012, Swarbrick said the deal would allow the Irish to "maintain our historic independence in football." Realignment had rendered Notre Dame's existence on its own precarious. The ACC took in the Irish as a full member in all other sports and guaranteed Notre Dame five or six football games annually. The conference allowed the university to maintain the football identity it established and nurtured for more than a century.
Notre Dame wanted to remain independent. That was a deliberate choice. What a wonderful contract they must have to be able to choose to be members of the conference when they find it convenient but keep all the money for themselves when it's not convenient.
If anyone thinks the SEC would treat Miami fairly, you're insane. We're the red-headed stepchild in the ACC, what do you think we'd be in the SEC?
