NCAA Meets with Ruiz to discuss NIL deals

If a recruit gets "scared off" by the NCAA he or his family are either complete soft-shouldered morons or they had no intention of ever coming here in the first place.

The threat of an NCAA "cloud" in the current legal/legislative climate is non-existent and especially so for a school not relying completely on the collective model of dealing with NIL
We dropped out.

because Ruiz got caught doing it the wrong way with this kid? That's literally the only reason that would make any sense based on what else has been posted so far
Nope. There’s multiple reasons why including the amount. I will say it’s very ironic timing for them to show up lol. We know how they roll and who’s pockets they’re in.

So now will the jack holes leave us alone? We must be on the up and up if the headlines aren’t screaming for the death penalty.

Is this an inquiry into violations? Or is this an “interview” as Ruiz states it? Two very different things lol.

To me this smells of ‘we are skeptical. Explain this to us start to finish’ because most everything else we see outside of cars and maybe apparel gear on IG for players it is these collectives who have pots of money - but Ruiz is very much a face to a ‘product’

I'd like to think they're interviewing Ruiz because he actually has a business and seems to be following the rules.. so they will know what 'correct way to do it' looks like when they go see the other teams who are just blatantly paying players. Of course, I'm ******* delusional and the ncaa is only here because the $ec told them to come here and investigate Ruiz and bring the ******* cloud back.
