Apparently a lot of sharps made a LOT of money just now on Banchero. Woj tweeted he wasn't gonna go number 1, and people didn't believe him and put a ton of bread on him at up to +400. Just saw a dude who got down on $10K from Draftkings this morning on Banchero at +400. The books are NOT happy with Woj right now lol.

His game is just like Lonzo Ball’s, which is interesting because they let him go to Chicago this last season.

So they basically just drafted a kid who play the same role & fill what they lost with Lonzo.

Beal would be a good scoring option with the Heat, he can fit with Butler & Adebayo.

Assuming yall would have to move Oladipo & probably one of Robinson or Herro.

Beal has a lot of pluses as an overall player, but the cons to his game is he’s a poor effort defender & tends to be a gunner late in games. He’s a guy that believes he’s a Superstar & has the tendency to shoot his team out of games late in the 4th quarter because he’ll just start jacking up 3’s. His basketball IQ is probably his biggest weakness.

However, playing with a true Alpha like Jimmy Butler & for a Coach like Spoelstra could reign him in.

If Heat Culture could get him to play smarter in crunch time & be committed to sacrificing individual success for the greater good of the team he could be a really good piece to help the Heat get over the hump in the East.

Drafted by the Hornets & then supposedly traded to the Pistons.

IMO he’s the best pure Big Man in the Draft; he reminds me of Boogie Cousins in his prime before he tore his Achilles.

Except he’s way more athletically gifted than Boogie & has a much better temperament lol
 


The Pistons getting Kemba, Jalen Duren & Jaden Ivey is a really good haul for them to go with Cade Cunningham.

They picked up 2 of the most athletically inclined players at their positions in this draft in Jaden Ivey & Jalen Duren.
