He was better straight outta HS. If I recall right, he even played some TE in HS because he had such good feet.
 
There definitely is some kind of disease in the culture of this program that has persisted through so many coaching regimes. Honestly, I think that’s are biggest issue moreso than poor coaching. It just doesn’t seem like our players want it.

Or maybe he came to a program with no strength and conditioning program was forced to play tackle switched to guard then back to tackle and then guard again. Had the worst OL technical coach ever is Searles and played in a prehistoric offensive system where the defense has a huge advantage built in because of our ineptitude?

Never said he wasn’t talented, but people like you hyping the kid is part of the reason his development has been disappointing. Nobody is to blame for his lack of development but him. He didn’t stay a fat slob because of anybody but himself. He didn’t stay weak because of anybody but himself. He is a perfect example of the biggest issue at Miami. Kids who just think they can skate by on talent. They think that because of people like you who drill it into their brains by hyping them for nothing.

I’m pretty sure they are not going to be anymore prepared than they were after last bye week. Had 2 weeks to prepare for NC and still couldn’t execute. I’ve seen enough, this team is pure garbage and they have not improved after 4 games into the season. We’re dropping a 1/2 dozen games this season. We’ll be lucky to be bowl eligible.
