Navaughn Donaldson Rivals Update

If he cant drop back into coverage, he is useless in this scheme. He is 220 now right? Only position he can play in this scheme is the JACK role. But even then, we will be asking him to drop in coverage. Unfortunately, its not okay to just have the elite skill of rushing the passer anymore with this defense. And that's what BBurns seems to be best at.

Now if the rumors are true and we have changed the scheme to a one gap, aggressive, Seattle Seahawks style..then he would be welcomed with open arms.

(At the Spring game, that was the most aggressive I have seen our front 7 since Golden has been here.)

Here is the thing, UGA runs a 3-4 two gap scheme also so then how does Jeremy pruitt intend to use burns if not as a DE/OLB that can also drop into coverage. Granted that is a wast of talent to have them dropping into coverage.

spent Friday on Campus with his Mom, now has us leading. Expect a commitment from sooner rather then later.
