4 regular years + one redshirt year + one redshirt injury year + COVID.

He had at least one year left, possibly two.

I'm hearing that the injury redshirt year and the COVID year are one and the same.

That's a legit reason why he could be leaving... Some players just get accustomed to what they were used to and when change comes around, whether it's better or not, they get comfortable.
