National Championship Tickets

I use TickPick...I think its the best. Rolls the fees into the price and tracks prices well.

Get in price has gone up $1500. 60% price increase on GET IN price. Average price with a near 70% increase...wild. Never seen anything like it.

Something really needs to be done about what's going on with tickets prices to events and how it's all bots and brokers just ripping people off. Music concerts is my thing and I'm more than willing to pay premium prices but these days prices are just ******* insane. Rush tickets, Iron Maiden.. you name it. It's crazy ****. At this point I compare everything to the Welcome to Rockville festival. I paid $650 for vip tickets to that and it's a 4.5 day festival for me that will get me close to 50 bands. With my camping ticket I'm all in for 5 days and under $2k. I want to go to the game so ******* bad but I feel morally obligated to not pay these prices. I think it was the UK that just passed a law that tickets can only be sold at face value.. we really need something like that here in the States. I'm so tired of being fleeced at every turn.
 
This was my last time checking the ticketmaster sell it now option. Current take home offer is $3,663.90. That doesnt include the selling fees, so general offer is around 4k. The offer peaked on saturday at $4,350.60, when down big sunday and up just slightly this am.

those were for a single ticket, a little better offer for a pair.
 
I'm a nobody, but holy **** man. It's a shame the market is set for Superbowl prices. I've never seen prices like this. Lol it's gonna look like the Kentucky derby types . Either that or it's gonna be all Indiana fans.

Yup ever since Covid the entertainment prices have made no sense. Im like you, go to many concerts and events so used to buying tickets across different type of events.. When I saw stadium events costing more than arena events pre covid for same aartist I knew something was up.. These bots and algorithms buy everything up and they drip the tickets out to control the pricing.. Its insane and since its "capitalism" consumers will get screwed across the board (happening in all types of markets from sneakers to rental housing so everyone is affected if its sold online)
 
Yall they are not playing Around you can’t bring anything to the other tailgate side. No waters chairs coolers nothing.

Crap, can't even go back for the game materials. It looks like I'll be hanging out in yellow while I finish my 5th of jack

Do we really think all those tix will be purchased at those prices. Or do the ticket holders go to the game if they don't get a taker. At some point you need to make something, right? I'm perplexed these tix are still selling so high.
 
im here tailgating in the yellow lot right next to the bridge to orange.

they will let you bring drinks and food over. but no coolers, no chairs.

for the several cars in our group, they did ask to see game tickets but did not scan them. we got here right when they opened so maybe they wont be as strict once it gets busier.

Many have tried the face value thing. Just pushes the market more underground
 
Hard to think they are gonna clear these lots after the game starts. We are in Yellow up by the fence. It’s a LONG way to clear all this.
