How tickets looking today?
Going up in Stub hub for sure
Ticket data shows it as well. Plus a low get in price here or there can be just one off gone fast

Stub hub has the most exclusive inventory from no pros (they use software to push to all platforms)

There’s not a ton of inventory even on stub hub if you drop the top level max down to under 6 or 8 k

We bought on secondary market on Wednesday afternoon once prices dropped. Tickets in our section (348) are now selling for $1200 more than what we paid. I think the prices will drop tommorow and Monday AM….,,probably down to the 3000-3300 range
I doubt they dropped, the brokers control it ALL with computer to prevent that.. The best time to buy was when the schools released tickets to regular buyers and that diluted the market with regular sales.. Right now its controlled by bots to prevent price decrease..

For the brokers they this was an unexpected boon so they dont care to take a "loss" on rest of tickets because they have super bowl coming up.. They dont really panic dump in that way.. since everything went online

Lot of tickets out there right now
Not really. Change your filter view.

There are less than 500 pairs on stub hub if- the most common sale - under $6k. That’s nothing

1800 listings over 10k a seat - sure some of that is prime but a lot of that is ghost inventory by brokers meant to make their lower tickets look cheaper and recommend

Either way there were over 7000 any listings this morning when I woke up and it’s 5800 or so now. Guess 25% at least is shadow inventory or maybe somwone is drunk and will buy these for 15k upstairs

If y’all try and buy tickets from Miami ticket marketplace on GroupMe. Buyer Beware, it’s a scam. One of the admins tried to sell fake tickets. SIAP

so for those tickets, what do the brokers ultimately plan to do with them? just let them go to waste? they will be empty seats come game time?

For the upper deck- tickets x2- there are 195 listings- not sure if that is true numbers or some type of black magic, they are throwing at us.

I wouldn't be surprised if they are happy to let some tickets go unsold if it means artificially driving up the price of what they do sell.

******* leeches, man

First part is me second part is ai because it’s a lot to type on your phone in flight.

They post spec tickets or insane high tickets to - catch people doing wild purchases, or saying a section knowing thy can but it cheaper and make money selling to you on the difference or to make their other listings look cheaper and get the stub hub algorithm going with the amazing tag as a result

They have software sophisticated to publish across all of the sites like StubHub and seat geek and instantly take off if something they actually have sells or instantly buy tickets that fulfills high listing they have in a section/row they don’t actually have from someone else way cheaper then they just sold for.

It’s not necessarily that all of these shadow tickets don’t exist but many don’t in the truest sense

Look at price filters- you’ll see. Or go into a section and ask why it’s selling at 4K but there are seats rhere for 15k

Ai answer more in depth:

Extremely high ticket prices, such as
$15,000 for a ticket that typically sells for $4,800, are a specific strategy by professional brokers driven by profit motives and market dynamics, not an error.

Broker Pricing Strategies
  • Capturing "Emotional" Buyers:Some buyers, driven by urgency or a desire for the best seats, are willing to pay almost any price for certainty and immediacy. These highly-priced listings target these specific, less price-sensitive individuals.
  • Price Anchoring: Listing a few tickets at exorbitant prices can sometimes make other high (but less extreme) prices seem more reasonable by comparison, effectively anchoring the perceived market value higher.
  • Algorithmic Pricing (Bots): Many professional sellers use automated pricing bots. These algorithms adjust prices based on real-time market data, inventory levels, and demand. If a specific section is showing low inventory, the bot might automatically increase the price dramatically to maximize potential profit.
  • Unrealistic Expectations: Some season ticket holders or individual sellers, not just professional brokers, simply list their tickets with unrealistic price expectations, hoping for a significant payday far above market value. They are willing to not attend the event unless they get their asking price.
  • No Price Ceiling: Unlike primary ticket markets which have set face values, secondary markets like StubHub generally have no price ceilings (only a minimum price of $6), allowing sellers to charge as much as the market will bear.
Essentially, these listings are attempts to find the maximum price a consumer is willing to pay. While many of these ultra-high-priced tickets never sell, their presence is a calculated part of the dynamic pricing ecosystem in the secondary market.

I can't imagine it gets sold out if they don't start to drop prices- as business savvy as they may be- fans will also stand firm and not buy if they remain this high- why not just sell off the rest after you have made a certain level of profit margin and move on to the next opportunity.

I am not in tune with the ticket resale game- but on ticketmaster, when you see all those resale tickets- you can highlight a section, it gives an amount of what is left in that section. I am guessing that is pretty accurate- and if so- there are quite a bit left in the upper deck alone.
Close to entire rows 🤦🏻‍♂️ have been sitting there. Maybe I'm misreading it but tickpick says there are 3800ish tickets.
