Yeah, it was one of those situations where Indiana fans had to buy Thursday into Friday if they were actually going to keep their travel plans. Otherwise, no sense in doing all that travel and not having tickets. That was definitely a surge of Indiana fans, now all the Miami fans that were waiting for cheap tickets are basically going to have to hope. There's some brokers with way too much inventory on game day that need to unload
 
We bought on secondary market on Wednesday afternoon once prices dropped. Tickets in our section (348) are now selling for $1200 more than what we paid. I think the prices will drop tommorow and Monday AM….,,probably down to the 3000-3300 range
 
people thinking the prices are gonna drop at least in our sections is funny. these people posted on sale with the hope of getting those numbers. if not, they'll just go to the game. they already live here lol

fyi: with the AI real time pricing, it auto adjust prices based on how its going

Though I was slick taking Brightline up from Brickell with shuttle. Dang shuttle does not start till 4pm or so. Guess I’m Ubering to Yellow lot. Probably drop at Wal Mart and walk over, right?

I sold my 4 tix allocated from the school in section 205 row 7 for 4k each below market to Canes fans and half of that total was mine as I share season tix with a friend. So, 8k - 1750 cost for 2 tix from school = 6250 profit. Then, I bought tix in section 111 row 14 for $3500 a piece from a friend that is a doctor at UM and had some extras. So, I’m actually getting paid $2,750 to attend the natty 🏆 🙌🏻

But ****! What’s taking place on secondary markets should be criminal. It’s pretty clear the “market” is being run and controlled by bot farms… ******** over everyday people.

I monitor 5 resale sites. Literally every ticket for sale jumped up over 1k in the span of a couple hours yesterday. That doesn’t happen if it’s ordinary people posting their tix for sale. Not to mention the same tix are listed across all sites - and all sites mysteriously showed the jump at the same time.

It was calculated and timed. Similar to a rug pull in the stock market. They shook out prices under 3k and then shot ALL remaining tix up 1k - this setting the new “market”

I hope people hold out so these crooks have to come back to earth. This morning I’m wishing I was smart enough to create a 3rd party app that has barriers to bot farms buying any tix.

uber wont take you to yellow lot. it'll take you to uber lot and you gotta walk.

id recommend ubering to like sonic or something similar.

Maybe maybe not even if you see that many for “listings” on stub hub. Avg listing is 2.4 tickets or so.

Many of those listings are “shadow inventory” - 1/3 of listings are over $15k used to prop other listings up and only some of them are real like 50yd line or suites.

Usually singles have a 10-15% discount to a pair but right now that does not seem to be the case

I hope it turns around for people trying to get an at a more reasonable price, but it’s not feeling that way with random exceptions as people who don’t sell tickets often get worried about time but those get swiped right away
